Kid’s menus?

Recommended Posts

Do the specialty restaurants have kid’s menus? Our teens are particular and don’t have a lot of interest in most of what they offer. Would Los Lobos make plain quesadillas? La Cucina plain spaghetti and meatballs or cheese ravioli with no sauce? Cagney’s or Q Texas Smokehouse plain burgers or chicken tenders?

If they do you’d have to pay the adult price. My daughter is celiac, at the specialty restaurants they really wouldn’t make her something special, just let us know what had gluten, possibly leaving off sauces and such. The MDR’s would make her anything she wanted because it’s all prepared in a separate kitchen and not the main one.

We were on the Prima this month with my picky 13yo and they would not give her the kids menu because she was too old. I’m not sure how much the specialty places will adjust for the kids. We did Los Lobos and Cagneys. She went to the buffet if she didn’t eat enough at the restaurants.

It sounds like what you want regular menus items without sauces or other dressings. You should be able to get that for your teens.

I think it’s different. I don’t think cucina serves ravioli, or meatballs, does cagney’s offer a burger? Chicken nuggets? Los lobos quesadillas? I think it would have to be a current menu item to modify it.
