nhraformula00 Posted July 28 #3 Share Posted July 28 Until it is finished it would be our last choice in this area.
Reina del Mar Posted July 29 #4 Share Posted July 29 Stayed in Embassy Suites 18-20th July 2024. Given a refurbished room at no additional charge. New carpets, furnishings, room repainted.Didn’t think bathroom had been upgraded and balcony doors definitely not replaced..heavy to open and close. Didn’t hear any work noise. although work in progress. Breakfast had a wide variety and when we went (early) no queues or overcrowding, social hour we were given vouchers for two drinks per evening.. Snack doesn’t really change..carrots, cucumber with dips,. Staff very helpful at check in/out. Had stayed several years ago and knew a refurb was needed..so took a chance…worked out well for us.Stayed at Hyatt Place in meanwhile..if price is right, will choose Embassy Suites going forward.

The bathrooms are what this hotel needs to refurbish, they are terrible. Also the elevators on cruise morning so dam slow. Too many people, too large of a hotel for us.

Thanks for posting. This ES had long been our favorite FL pre-cruise hotel -- until we saw its wretched condition, two years ago. I was encouraged to hear about the rennovation in progress.

We stayed at Hilton marina last few times , love waking up and seeing our ship from the balcony. We had a terrible stay at Embassy suites a few years ago , will never return. Loved the hotel pre covid, personal was the worst.

Hilton Marina on the intercoastal 2 blocks east. There are a few more on 17th. St. but have not stayed at them personally. Recommend Hyatt Place.
