Princess App: How to LOG OUT & other questions (IT specialists please help)

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hi,

1)  It's embarrassing to ask but where is the LOG OUT button on the princess app (mobile phone)?

2)  I had issues signing into Princess App using my ID and password.  It wasn't until I logged in via computer using ID and password that I was able to use my ID and password to log in on the Princess App (mobile phone).  However, now I cannot find the log out button on the Princess App (mobile phone).

3)  Also, I made reservations for my family (booked 2 cabins).  When I booked, I signed up for a Captain's Number and created an ID and password for myself.  I did NOT create an ID and password for my husband or kids.  However, I was advised that they already have Captain's Number created for them.

4)  How do I create an "unique" ID and password for my husband and kids?  I believe that after I "created" an account on the princess.com website I was assigned a Captain's Number.  However, my husband and kids already have a Captain's Number assigned.  Will it mess up the already assigned Captain's Number if I create an account for them?  I don't want to accidentally create a 2nd Captain's Number for them.

5)  We do not have security software (eg. Bitdefender, Norton etc.) on our mobile phones.  How safe is it to log into Princess App with our booking number and birthday information?  The reason I want to create an "unique" ID and password for my husband and kids is to avoid using our birthday information to log into the Princess App.

6)  I'm not feeling too confident entering my birthday information in the log in screen given all that I read on the "Security Breach" thread.

7)  I know there's many IT specialists on this forum.  Please help ease my fears.  We're sailing in a couple of days.

😎 I'm assuming that the easiest thing to do at this time is to log in with booking number & birthday rather than try and create an "unique" account ID and password (given that Captain's Numbers have all been assigned for my husband and kids).

9) Should I worry about entering our birthday information on the log in screen (especially since we do not have security software on our mobile phones)?

10) Sorry for the super long message.  I hope you understand what I'm trying to convey.  I'm not sure I explained myself well.  Many thanks for your help.

App>profile picture (lower right) move to the bottom.

log out

Do not create new Captain Circle numbers for your family, if have those numbers already.  That really will complicate matters.

If you have a TA or CVP, you can ask them for help, especially, if you have fears.

Never had issues with credentials on PCL.  If there was a security breach, remember all your information is there anyway, including DOB, as well as other information.  I wouldn’t worry about entering a booking number and DOB.

You do have some level of security on your mobile phone.

Go enjoy your cruise and try not to worry.

Thanks.  Assumed this also so appreciate your advice.  I won't try and create an account.

I have never found a need to log out... Why?  What would that do for you?

I'm logged in at home.  Wish to log out until I need to stay logged in on cruise ship.  Don't want to accidentally open app and press something which shouldn't be pressed.

When I finally registered my own account on the website, I'm pretty sure it retained the existing captain's circle number Princess had assigned to me.

Thanks for your reassurance.  Great to know!  We leave soon so I will register the accounts after we return for "just in case" purposes.  👍
