Thank you for all your updates. I appreciate the information you've provided.

I will be embarking on the same cruise next week. Could you kindly clarify if the premium internet package allows access on two devices, not simultaneously, but one at a time? In other words, can I use it on my phone, and then switch to my laptop when not using the phone?

Welcome to Cruise Critic!

You can share one account amongst multiple devices. But only one device can be logged on at a time. The Birds use one account for 4 phones (1 work and 1 personal, each), an iPad and a laptop.

Note: not all cruise lines allow this.

The Encore Theater seats 877 guests. Choir of Man plays 4 times this week. So, there are seats for 3500 people to see the show…. But there are 4600 passengers onboard. Like the Titanic, there are not enough seats for everyone. Which is why you should make reservations for the show.

An IV Lounge?  That would be an "Oh hell NO" from me.

YIKES! They should rename it from the IV Lounge to the Oy Vey Lounge.

Yes, you can switch from one device to another. I'd download/update the NCL app on each device ahead of time so that it's all ready for the cruise. And make sure you really did log out on each device. The NCL wifi can be kind of glitchy about doing that, and next thing you know, your minutes ran down to zero.

If I'm going to upgrade to unlimited, I generally wait until the first sea day to upgrade to unlimited, so that my unused Free at Sea minutes are a credit.

And both Unlimited non-streaming and Streaming are slow compared to being on land, but there was a difference in speed. (I had basic unlimited and husband had the streaming. This was on the Prima in Northern Europe.)

Appreciating these updates, Bird! We'll be on this itinerary on the 1st as a group of 8. I'll also be 19 weeks pregnant so it's really helpful to get an idea of how things are operating and the schedules (always gotta plan in my daily naps). I was also excited to see they have some 0ABV Wines! Thanks!

Have a wonderful cruise and congratulations!

Pro Tip: the Manhattan room has a large section of 19-tip tables for group dinners. Coordinate with the restaurant to reserve one.

Pro Tip: some folks have romantic ideas of groups wanting to sit together and have a 3 hour group dinner every night. We would do it once, maybe twice on a cruise. Folks today choose NCL for freestyle cruising, eating when you want and where you want. There are a lot of different dining choices. And the entertainment schedules don’t always allow to spend the entire night waiting for Aunt Mary to tell her 29 minute story of the first time she cruised.

Try a game of chance and win big in the Encore Casino.

This week there are 188 guests of which 80 are part of an independent group. Metrics: 1 E and 7 R.
