Tomorrow is Friday, embarkation and plan to arrive and check-in 2:30 to 2:45 PM.  Latest all abroad is 3:30 for 5 PM Sailaway.

Feels like disembarkation time, packing and getting ready to check-out. The cruise starts tomorrow.  Weather forecast for our ports aren't great but we'll go with the flow and see if Cunard is good for us. 

 

We had a simple & light dinner tonight and in housekeeping mode, doing laundry services here, fresh & clean clothes to board the QE.

Nice, sunny & beautiful day ahead. Another good night sleep to ease jetlag. It's DIY light breakfast ... baked (reheated) the goodies a little too much, plus coffee. Should leave to go north into the city around 9:30

 

 

Internet speed check - Shaw is cable ISP at the guesthouse, pretty good.  Google Fi / T-Mobile 5G here is blazing fast. Telus 3G on a backup mobile line isn't bad either.

 

 

 

Those large gray with glass devices on the floor left of sink in the kitchen, are those sous vide makers maybe unique to Canada?

That seafood place must be where NCL picks their prices for menu items at the specialties.

QE is almost here, behind the Summit and should be docking at the North berth/terminal at Canada Place. 

 

Still early, back to sleep a bit and will still have the morning to enjoy this city.

It would have been interesting to see the palatial estate of @YVRteacher.

YAY, thanks all - everyone on diet, until we get onboard later 😁  Had our morning caffeine and packing things, carry-on bags stuffed, getting checked and just a day pack to hopefully walk onto the ship smoothly after 3 PM. 

 

The 2 girls still sleeping 💤 jetlagged or what not, leaving them alone. 

 

We sure hit several photo 😁 sightseeing spots in town on a single day.  Feels nice to come back after 10 years & one of DW/SIL's cousin living here came out via SkyTrain to socialize briefly last evening.

 

Hoping to do at least semi-live and everyone loves photos, stay tuned. QE docked about 7 AM local time.

Obviously we are all interested to read about your initial thoughts boarding QE and, in general, how it compares to your vast NCL embarkations.
BTW, Did you choose fixed seating for dinner or open? Knowing that open seating is famous on NCL.

Luggage for 6 ... not traveling light, but it fit.

 

Updated my Sony Linux laptop for Station Zebra (command post) at sea use ... cellular signals here on Rogers & Telus are fast & good.  

 

 

Off to a light lunch first 😆
