Jet Blue changed departure

We are scheduled to arrive in Ft Lauderdale on March 2 (Sunday)at 7am. Jet Blue has moved up our flight time to 9:56am out of FLL. I'm nervous we won't make this flight depending on time it takes to disembark. Any thoughts?

It's tight. The good news is you are only about 10 minutes door to door from Port Everglades to FLL. If the ship clears on time and you are among the first off with self help disembarkation, carrying your own bags off, then you could reasonably expect to be at the airport by 8-8:15. Enough time to pull it off but everything has to go perfectly.

Yes, I agree with you! It will be tight! Even if we "self assist!" But I think I will be too stressed because we all know, stuff happens! Thanks for your input.

How big was the schedule change and what other flights are they offering/available? Do you have Pre-Check and/or Clear?

 

There are generally more rights if the change is more than 2 hours, but the airline is supposed to accommodate you if their schedule change doesn't fit your travel needs. But you probably want to explore options sooner than later since it's a cruise arrival date!

 

And agree, it's tight.

If you have the JB app message them. Say you’re on a cruise and the new time doesn’t work, you need a later flight.

I would def try to switch the flight, that would be cutting it close, especially if there are any delays getting of the ship or traffic.

did you purchase your airfare thru the cruise line?  If so, call them first and discuss the issue.  They may tell you it's fine, get you on the first bus to  the airport.  OR, they may tell you to call Jet Blue and change it.  Good luck. I too, don't like to be stressed out over flights ( or anything travel related).

We've made a 10:30 before. But it was stressful.  But we made it.  Self disembark and try getting in line early. The taxi's are right out front and very organized.  At least when we did this.
