Thanks !  I’m so glad ppl appreciate the live reviews.

Def check it out.  I tried to make a lot of RC comparisons for my RC friends.  I’ll try to scrounge up the link.  We will be going again with the same crew of friends  on VV in March 2025.  It’s a great time and nice change of pace.

I definitely appreciate your live review and awesome pictures! Bermuda has definitely been on my list of places I want to go, but haven’t been able to make it work - at least not yet.

Since our weather is leaving something to be desired currently I’ll divert my mind with thoughts of pink sand.

Here is why the sand is pink.  There are other pink sand beaches besides Bermuda.

The scientific answer lies in the presence of minute marine organisms called foraminifera. As explained by the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences, foraminifera, affectionately known as "forams," are tiny single-celled creatures with calcium carbonate shells, akin to those of corals, mussels, and lobsters.

When forams perish due to wave impact or natural causes, their shells descend to the ocean floor. Eventually, they drift ashore and blend with white quartz sand, imparting a delicate pink tint. The vibrancy of this hue is influenced by the intensity of sunlight reaching the sand.

Bermuda's sandy shores boast a delicate pale pink hue, resembling a gentle blush from a distance. Upon closer inspection, the sand reveals a myriad of pink tones within its fine particles.
