For those interested - on board at the moment and spotted Captain Inger just now in Queen’s Room - the bell is on the bridge.

Did you not mention to her, that the 'Paying Guests' might be interested in seeing it displayed in the public areas.

How is it dumbing down, exactly?

 

Moreover, how is the bell of the ship it is on any form of memorabilia, any more than the anchor? It is presumably a (very traditional) piece of equipment.

Let's  face it, if not displaying an item, which as I have said I didn't know existed as such, is an example of 'dumbing down' in Cunard's latest ship, then I think I can live with that! 🙂

We took a couple of photos of ourselves beside QM2's bell.

They didn't look that good. I'd choose a better backdrop next time.
