my 2025 one isn’t showing up under my future voyages

So this and the balance still owed issue is down to the fact it can take up to 5 days for the payment to process, which given the size, is understandable. So hopefully all okay in 5 days!

Perhaps Cunard have just got to the stage of assuming he is (or will be) on everything.

They got the manifest from the head office, and I have nothing booked on either of the ships for that period in 2026, so this is the best theory so far!

(Realistically, my guess is head office sent 2025 and 2026 by accident?)

Dinner in Sir Samual’s last night was again fantastic. Opted to try something other than caviar and wagyu this time:

I fell asleep in the room early, which meant staying up way later than expected, meaning 3am pizza…

Of course, it being a late night, it meant a late start. I woke up 20 minutes before the start of the blackjack tournament and managed to win it. (Well, tied in the final. We opted to split the winnings)

Another hot and beautiful day at sea. Hotter than yesterday I believe.

What was the main in Sir Samuels and can I ask if you get a discount for frequent cruiser/user? Do you have an aversion to using the main dining room given you opt to dine alternatively every night?

I was just about to ask the same question 😅 after all,  he has occasionally   mentioned complimentary drinks in the casino 😅

I use the diamond benefit to get $30 off

dinner there, but that’s once per cruise.

I have nothing against main dining, just felt like something different this cruise.

I can get a few drinks on the casino playing the tables, sure. But I’m playing for a fair bit each day. Certainly given more than it’s costing them I suspect.

Early start this morning with breakfast in bed which was very nice.

Lovely weather again so laps around the deck before doing some blackjack for a bit.

Tonight they have my favourite show on, Imagination, so I’ll be setting time aside to see both shows.

Definitely have enjoyed the sea days this trip, no that I didn’t before, but the weather has just made them so much better. Really relaxing.

Before I forget to mention, as I’ve wanted to share this in the past but I believe I’ve just completely forgot to.

If you’re an ice cream lover, definitely give the ice cream in the Food Hall a try.

I’d argue it’s better than what’s offered in the dining room, and better than the machine on the other ships.

What about the gelateria?

Chocolate is most definitely yummy but  seemed in short supply in July. Or maybe I went at the wrong time. 🙁

Looks like we’re getting mini bars back!

Wonder if this will mean a great earnings call on Monday or a lacklustre one…

Stocked mini bar in solo cabins on QM2 few weeks ago. When I opened the fridge to put my Trustee bottle of Pol Acker in I had a shock. No price list or anything so asked steward to remove it all which he did. There was enough room in the cupboard housing the fridge to store it all in. Interesting to see the prices.

It was an early but nice start to the day in Dubrovnik, where I did the small group walking the city walls tour.

We had a great guide and a few of us went to a local bar for lunch and drinks after.

Have a great day in Dubrovnik, one of my favourite ports (if it's not too busy).

There were two other ships in with us today, one tendering. This is now the daily limit and it was still fairly crowded at around midday.

Would recommend early morning tours for anyone coming here in the future as it was far less busy.
