Just found this thread, thanks for posting. We'll be on Symphony in two weeks. I made the mistake of booking Halloween week, and there will be way too many kids (most of whom should be in school) on the ship. At least we get five free drinks per day since we are Diamond+ thanks to Celebrity, so we'll have to head to the Solarium and drink :).

 

I did not see any mention of an elevator/stowaway pianist. Is there one on the ship? A cruise friend who was on Independence last week had one.

 

Also, any days of free $5 casino money? I have not read through the entire thread to look at all the Cruise Compass to check if it's listed.

 

Pleased to see that there was a Captain's Q&A. We were just on Celebrity Silhouette and the captain was barely visible and did not hold a Q&A. Seeing it mentioned here reminded me that I forgot to complain about it in the survey I filled out after the cruise (although they did ask about officer visibility and friendliness, and they got a failing grade).

Yes, there is a elevator/stowaway pianist.

 

You get $6 free play good any day during the cruise.  IIRC, it's bumped to $8 on day 1 / day 2.

Surprisingly generous considering often it is up in the air as to whether they will even refund you the port fees for a missed port .

That was from Port side. . . I was up on Deck 16 when I took that photo. My cabin was on STB side.

Hello everyone. . . I left the ship around 10 am. There was a little hold-up getting a nonstop stream of passengers down the 2 escalators in the terminal.

 

I was able to walk into the luggage holding area, find a porter, and then speed through immigration in seconds using facial recognition. The porter took the luggage cart up to deck 3 of the garage.

My time from getting off the ship to getting in my car was about 15 min. It only took about 20 min to get to my hotel in Elizabeth, NJ. I arrived so early that I couldn't check-in. (Oh, the humanity)

They allowed me to check in around noon, and I was ready for news.

 

I have 100's of photos and videos, that I haven't posted yet. It may take a few days, but I will try to edit, some of the images, and vids from the "Radio Pressroom". It will take a few days . . .

Thank you for the likes, the support, and the hugs over the last 15 nights. I love Cruising, and I love posting "LIVE".

Is the $6/8 good on the slot machines? Is this a C&A benefit or for everyone? In the past, it's just been $5 listed one day in the Cruise Compass. On Celebrity earlier this month, it was just available from 8p-midnight the last night of the cruise.

Do you have kinks to your previous reviews?  I catch the ones on the RCCL board, but I miss the live post for other cruiselines.  I used to get the links from the "Cruising with Radio" website, but it doesn't seem to have been updated in a long time.  I would love to read them, even if they aren't live anymore.

 

And about the stowaway pianist, that is my husband's dream job!  We practically stalk the pianists in the elevators on our cruises so my husband can live vicariously through them! lol

I never asked because I was always too full for a second entree. They often suggested two desserts, though, when I couldn't decide between them. . . "Mr Radio, I bring you both of them"

See the cashier in the casino and they will give you printed instruction on how to access the 6 

bucks on your seapass card. ( im a diamond and got 6 )

I was able to play the slots . It was in the morning on a sea day.

Thanks for the video.  Now I know I don't want to walk to get there. 

 

There are seven of us going in June so I rented one of the Hideout cabana's at Hideaway beach.  We're really looking forward to it.
