How Do you Like the New Boards

When the boards first came back on this afternoon, I was frustrated as all get out. :o I was at work where my screen resolution is 800 x 600. Things just weren't looking like they should. :confused: Now that I'm at home with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768, most of the functions are working and the screen is the proper size. Maneuvering around is still a bit of a challenge, but I'm sure it will come with time. We should just be greatful to have reliable boards now. I know that I am. Thank you mods, and bear with us. We may get a bit cantankerous for a bit. ;)

Click on User CP near the top of the page

Click on Edit Signature under Control Panel

 

Paste this wherever you want it on your signature

change numbers according to when your cruise leaves...

my ship leaves 08/01/2004 at 5:00 p.m. (hence the number 17), and I live in California and am leaving from Vancouver (hence GMT-0700)

I dont like these boards at all, The old way was easier to look at, this is just has to much going on.

The old boards were utter crap. vBulletin is better in every way, besides it actually works properly.

Like 'em quite a bit now. Am sure will like them even more when I get more accustomed to them and learn more about using them.

Love is something else again... LOVE my DH, but have never actually fallen in love with a board.... ;)

I would like to see the first page be longer. There are so many posts on the RCCL board that even very recent posts often end up on page 2 or even three. It wouldn't be so bad, but the click to page 2 is small. My suggestion would be to make it a bigger target, or even better make a nice big "NEXT PAGE" link.

If you've already done a search for your M & M over on the roll calls board, I suggest just starting a new thread over there. That's what a lot of people have been doing since many of the threads didn't make the transition to the new boards because they originated before the cut-off date. Fellow cruisers are finding each other slowly but surely... good luck!
