Alaska?

That's a toss-up: some will say Hubbard, some will say Glacier Bay. They're both very good.

I'm not sure about past years, but this year RCI seems to visit Hubbard Glacier. Glacier Bay is very nice though, and would be worth seeing more than once.

"Better" is one of those "eyes of the beholder" things, but IMHO, Hubbard is better.

On a good day the sail up Yakutat Bay is one of the most beautiful rides in the world. The glacier itself is huge---both across the face and in height. It's so blue it's difficult to get your pictures developed in the right hue!

It's very active, too---hearing the "crack" that sounds like a gunshot, followed by the calving is exciting. And then the ship rocks!

Whichever itinerary you choose---have a great time in the great land.

We liked Glacier Bay best, BUT that could be because it was an absolutely beautiful sunny day in Glacier Bay and cold, windy, and overcast when we went to Hubbard!! We're going back to Glacier Bay this year.

Royal Caribbean and Celebrity don't have permits to go to Glacier Bay, so you must've seen Hubbard Glacier.

It's refreshing to hear some say they prefer Hubbard Glacier. Over on the Alaska board, there are some STRONG opinions that Glacier Bay is far superior.

You're correct. We booked RCI for 07 and we go to Hubbard Glacier. Since we live in NYC any glacier we see will be awe inspiring :D
