Good morning, ladies.

 

I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm in need of a nice short white dress for a white party on my upcoming Carnival cruise. I prefer things that are more youthful and have a shape. Mumu's are not my thing. I'm currently a size 16, depending on the designer and style of dress. May be an 18 or 16W. Well since it's October I'm having a hard time finding anything I like. I'm searching Ebay, which I shop on a lot, but not having much luck. Anyone know any other online spots I could try that might have some cute/sexy white dresses? I would even consider a jumpsuit.

I just got this dress from Sears.ca - with discounts it cost $14. CDN. I may give it to my daughter instead, I'm not 100% sure it's not too youngish for me - 61?? thoughts? Shar

I don't think it is too young for you. But, you have to wear what is comfortable for you. I am even older than you and think the dress is fine and absolutely perfect for a Caribbean cruise.

Tia check out White House Black Market. Online they go up to a size 16. I float between a 14-16 these days and their 14s fit me wonderfully. They have some cute white dresses on clearance right now.

Catherines (Lane Bryant) is still got their buy $100/ get $50 off sale. I bought two really nice tops today for $48 each, a pair of pantyhose for $6, and with my Perks card the total was a little over $50. These are nice blouses, too, as I just bought two with this sale about a month ago.
