ArtM Posted April 9, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2007 This was on TUG the other day and it seemed like something CC people would be interested in for future travel * Go to Google.com * Click on Maps * Click on "Get Directions" * Put New York in the Left Box * London in the Right Box * Click "Get Directions" * Read the directions, paying very close attention to direction # 23 * Scroll back up and check how long it will take. dkjretired Posted April 9, 2007 #6 Share Posted April 9, 2007 I did the directions from my house in New Jersey and the only problem I have is they make me go all the way up to Mass. before I start swimming. I live about 6 miles from the ocean so on my next trip I think I'll start swimming in NJ. Great sense of humor though....

It will be interesting to see how Google pays the judgement by the next of kin after somebody drowns while following this direction.... It makes me glad that I'm not a Google stockholder, though! SheilaNC Posted April 10, 2007 #10 Share Posted April 10, 2007 You can get addicted to trying different combinations. Any combination that can take you from NY to London as part of the trip seems to work. Someone at Google Maps had fun programming this one. For instance, try Chicago to Rome. Lots of fun and reasons to keep me from work...now back to work.
CruisingChick Posted April 10, 2007 #11 Share Posted April 10, 2007 That's hysterical. Although I'm beginning to wonder if people have WAY to much time on their hands when something like this pops up.
