Victoria at night

What is there to do in Victoria at night. The Amsterdam doesn't get in until 6:00 pm. That seems very late but there must be worthwhile activities still open to do.

We stayed on the ship last summer when it got to Victoria. We had been there a couple of years before for three days. With such a short time, I'd suggest doing HAL's excursion to Butchart Gardens. They're great.

I recommend that you stroll through the Empress Hotel. The Queen stays there when she visits.

This late stop clearly isn't touring orientated. You can walk about the Inner Harbor- shuttle from the ship of a long walk. You best would be a lot safer booking ship tours to make the best use of your time.

The Oosterdam arrived in Victoria at 6:45 pm and I was on the City tour with the Craigdarrock Castle and High Tea at the Empress Hotel. This trip was booked at 60 days out through the Holland America website. When I got off the ship there was a gentleman with a sign waiting for us in front of a antique double decker bus. The bus was built in 1963 for Derby England. The gent was originally from a town in East Anglia England near where I lived for 2 years. All in all it was a great tour!!
