Levels of Captain Club members??

Can someone tell me how many cruises you need to get to each level... and what are the levels called with Celebrity. My TA told me today that he linked all my cruises with RCCL, so I can benefit, of course I know this doesn't count towards my Celebrity sailings... can someone explain their system?

like RCCL one leval is 5 and then 10 etc. i ma new to this but it is well explained on the website.

Simply, Classic at after one "point", Select after five, Elite after 10...

One point per cruise, one extra point if 12 nights or more, one extra point if in a CC or Suite...

 

The "Reciprocity" thing with Royal Caribbean's Crown and Anchor works like this:

 

If you are "Platinum" on RCCL, you get the benefits of being "Select" on Celebrity...and vice-versa...

 

If you are "Diamond" on RCCL, you get the benefits of being "Elite" on Celebrity...and vice-versa...

 

But they do NOT add the credits for both...ie. if you have five credits on RCCL and 5 on Celebrity, that only makes you Platinum/Select and still five credits on ONE LINE away from being Diamond/Elite...If you have NINE points on EACH line, you are also still only Platinum/Select...

Thanks guys! Gotcha... Yes, it appears that I will benefit from the Select catagory. Too bad I won't get the credits on Royal:( This cruise would have put me over for my Diamond status. Oh well... This one cruise on Celebrity will give me 3 sailing credits though. That is cool...

 

I would love a "behind the scenes tour" though... Has a select person ever gotten to go take a tour of the Bridge??

If you get invited to the Captain's table, you will also get a tour of the bridge. Captain Pagonis is a wonderful host and normally extends an invitation to those at his table. However the table invite is normally the result of frequent sailings with Celebrity or booking an expensive suite... and luck of the draw.

Not usually. Unless you can get a captains table invite...

Talk to the social hostess - they may be able to help.

This is not done automatically and I don't know what your TA meant by he linked it to your account. You have to call Celebrity and get a Captains Club number and make sure it is applied to this cruise.

We're Select on Celebrity so we are now Platinum on RCCL because of the reciprocity.:)

 

I got into a "discussion" about how the benefits are applied over on the RCCL board. Anyone care to take a look at this thread and see if I was correct or way off? The OP was a bit hard to follow.
