LARGIN Posted August 22, 2008 #101 Share Posted August 22, 2008 Being Elite does not guarantee that you will be invited to the Captains lunch..

I enjoy seeing how many days people have cruised
lyntony Posted August 22, 2008 #104 Share Posted August 22, 2008 I think the decision is left up to the Captain's Circle Representative. Maybe some go by the book and some just make their own decisions. Lyndee

Now they just take the top 40 most travelled (in days, not number of cruises). We are talking 40 people, not couples. Pia
Mapu Posted August 22, 2008 #106 Share Posted August 22, 2008 We have been to two "most traveled" luncheons. The first was in 2005 when we were Platinum and the second on our Pacific Princess cruise this past June (we are now Elite). There were only a half dozen Elite members at the luncheon all of the other guests were Platinum. The CC rep said that they invite the 40 most traveled guests. We were Elite this past February on the Star and did not make the cut. Gail

I recall that when we were on the PP B2B, we were 3rd most travelled on the first leg and didn't make the luncheon cut on the 2nd.
