glgolfer Posted July 16, 2008 #27 Share Posted July 16, 2008 Not one of the ten, but from a cruise ship joke book I just got in Key West. What can make an 80 year old grandmother drop an F bomb? When another 80 year old grandmother yells "Bingo".

Puffinater Posted July 16, 2008 #29 Share Posted July 16, 2008 When we realized the Farewell was pretty much a repeat we stopped going. But here they are for those who would like to know. 10. Do these steps go up or down? 9. What do you do with the beautiful ice carvings after they melt? 8. Which elevator do I take to get to the front of the ship? 7. Does the crew sleep on the ship? 6. Is this island completely surrounded by water? 5. Does the ship make its own electricity? 4. Is it salt water in the toilets? 3. What elevation are we at? 2. There's a photographer on board who takes photos and displays them the next day... the question asked...If the pictures aren't marked, how will I know which ones are mine? 1. What time is the Midnight Buffet being served? What do I win?

wrp96 Posted July 17, 2008 #43 Share Posted July 17, 2008 What kind of money do they take in Alaska???? Sue, believe me that one does NOT shock me. We are still floored about an incident that occurred shortly after I moved to Arkansas from Alaska. My grandmother introduced me to someone as her granddaughter that had just moved from Alaska. The person leaned over to my grandmother and asked if I spoke English.

VAHockeymom Posted July 17, 2008 #45 Share Posted July 17, 2008 Where's the elevator that goes from front to back? Hadn't heard this one before...too funny! I believe the answer has something to do with Willie Wonka and a chocolate factory! Too bad they won't have these on Oasis though, it sure would make moving around that big ship easier (and maybe confuse the button pushing children constantly riding the elevators too!):D

GaryfmCol Posted July 17, 2008 #48 Share Posted July 17, 2008 How high above sea level are we? Which deck is your cabin on? When we went through the Panama Canal, the ship was about 34 feet above sea level...:D
Arizona Cruz Chic Posted July 17, 2008 #49 Share Posted July 17, 2008 When they change the day of the week in the elevator, do they change it on every floor? The condo complex that I worked at, the sales director wanted to do exactly that....put a sign inside the elevator at every floor....yes she was blond.  Carol...you're killing me here. I guess some of these still have some punch! :D ***
cruiserbryce Posted July 17, 2008 #50 Share Posted July 17, 2008 you may think these are silly but even in our hotel we get some crazy ones...we had one person get on an elevator and ask how she could find the elevators that went down to the lobby:confused:
