TwoWeebles Posted December 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2008 Okay, so I have seen many people say they bring Duct Tape with them on a cruise, but I have never even thought about it myself. Tell me what you use YOUR duct tape for? I can't wait to see the creativity.:D

iluvkst Posted December 13, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 13, 2008 My luggage ripped the day before I got on the ship. Good thing I had my duck tape. Had I not, I would've had to buy a new piece.
DonnaK Posted December 13, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 13, 2008 To "seal" a cracked plastic bottle to prevent shampoo from leaking all over the place. To "fix" items in the cabin (cabinet door, hangers in the closet) that shift and make noise when the ship is in motion. To repair a fallen hem on trousers. IBookHePays Posted December 13, 2008 #7 Share Posted December 13, 2008 I get up at 6am, go to the pool, find the best chair, then put a big X of duct tape on it. Add a sign "out of order", then go back to bed and come back at noon, remove the tape and order a drink.;)

bigal3967 Posted December 13, 2008 #9 Share Posted December 13, 2008 The PA system messed up on one of my cruises and all, I do meal all PA announcements were coming into the stateroom. So at 2AM, I duct taped 2 towels over the speaker in the ceiling and was finally able to go to sleep!! Duct tape is like the force, it has a dark side and a light side and holds the universe together Big Al

TEXASMUNK Posted December 13, 2008 #16 Share Posted December 13, 2008 NEVER duct tape them to a wall. They can pound their head on the wall and get help....the last thing you wnat them to do! Duct tape them to a chair, put the chair in the middle of the room, turn the TV on (loud)..Be sure to save some of the duct tape for their mouth! Ya gotta think ahead when ya can't find a babysitter!!!! Once again for those out there that lead a sour life, I am kidding....again, maybe. cruiseguy1016 Posted December 14, 2008 #25 Share Posted December 14, 2008 I use it to take up valuable space in my luggage. It allows me to pack and pay for an extra bag. In some cases the roll of tape weighs enough that I can pay a fee for have an overweight bag. NEVER PACKED IT, NEVER NEEDED IT!
