mii Posted December 27, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 27, 2008 I just went into the Princess web site and under "Search for a Cruise" there is a new column titled Embark or Disembark Port. You can pick a port to sail out of or come back into. Very interesting. I was just into that site a few days ago and that column was not there so obviously something new. teripp Posted December 27, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 27, 2008 I saw that also. Great new feature. But for me better cruises out of FL rather than NY still :) oh well personal preference for sure. But a great new feature no less

daisy-mae Posted December 27, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 27, 2008 The feature has been available for some time now on at least one internet cruise booking website. You choose the port and other parameters (length, time of year, etc...), and the site lists all of the cruises that fit your requirements.

Available on several other sites, but new for Princess.

mii Posted December 27, 2008 Author #8 Share Posted December 27, 2008 It really is a good feature. Now we can just plug in for example San Francisco of which I live close to and find a cruise to sail into the sunset.:D Marilyn

Cruise Junky Posted December 27, 2008 #11 Share Posted December 27, 2008 Well it is a start so maybe sometime soon they will have other ports. Marilyn That would be nice :) I spent so much time last year looking for a specific European itinerary, that being able to put in your departure port would have been awesome. However, there are online TA sites that have this.

I believe he/she means that there is more choice; more cruises, that depart from Florida ports.
