Dukegirl5577 Posted February 17, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2009 Just a little bit of fun...what ports have you cruised to with NCL? Which was your favorite? Why? With NCL, I've been to: Cozumel Roatan Belize Cancun Ketchikan Juneau Skagway Prince Rupert In a few weeks from now, I'll be able to add: Nassau Great Stirrup Cay As for favorites...hmmm...I loved Juneau and Skagway...and Ketchikan...and Cozumel. I'm not sure if I could pick a fave!!!!
Cruise_More_Often Posted February 17, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2009 This is fun! Catalina, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, Ixtapa, Zihuatanejo Vancouver, Ketchikan, Skagway, Juneau, Price Rupert, Victoria Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Samana, Antigua, Tortola, Saint Lucia, Barbados Although the Caribbean islands are absolutely gorgeous, we loved all the Alaska ports, Vancouver and Victoria and plan to go back again and again. Avalon (Catalina Island) is a darling little seaport community that we were lucky enough to enjoy on a 7-day NCL Star repositioning cruise. NCL doesn't go there often. My favorite Mexico port is the lovely little fishing village of Zihuatanejo.

TheycallmeFlip Posted February 17, 2009 #15 Share Posted February 17, 2009 We have been to: San Juan, PR St. John's, Antigua St. Thomas X GSC X Samana, DR Tortola, BVI X indicates ports that we've stopped at more than once. We enjoyed San Juan and would have liked to spend some more time there. St. John's was okay. But we didn't find much to do there. (Didn't do any excursions.) We like St. Thomas. Great duty free shopping. Magen's Bay is beautiful. We liked Tortola. Swam with the dolphins which was incredible. We hated Samana. You are tendered to the dock which is in a marina with rusting and/or capsized boats. Trash is floating in the water. If you are not on an excursion, you will be engulfed: first by taxi drivers and then by young boys wanting to shine your shoes or sell you a sea shell. The town is extremely poor and run down.
