Lan yards

Does RCL give out free lanyards to hold sea pass card? Or do they have them for purchase ( I am sure they do in some one or another...) One cruise with CCL they were giving pretty decent ones for free, and then our following cruise with CCL we got these plastic spring thingy that were impossible, so we wound up purchasing some for the kids... (And now I can't find all of them, and kids are like, we are not wearing CCL on RCL:confused:)

 

So to find answers, I come to the great knowledge base that is this cruisse critic forum... (You guys have been an excellent source for info... better than the RCL site)

Yes... it is for sale in one of the gift shops I believe they were $4 but it has a plastic holder for the card that can easily rip. My son took that off and hooked the card on with the holes that are punched since he is a minor. Worked perfectly!!:p

The only free ones I have ever received are the springy ones from the casino. Not the best but free. Yes you can buy them in the gift shop. something like $3??

I have seen people bring extras from their country or state to swap with others or give as a tip/thank you to any guides/tour people.

haha hilarious! My sister lost her seapass 3 times and we found all of them at the end of the cruise! they kept falling behind her bed!

At most of the Meet and Mingles I have attended, RCI does give out free lanyards.

Only free lanyard we got was a sea day (one of 5 consecutive btwn Hawaii and Vancouver...so they might do extra things when you have that many...wouldn't count on it for standard sea days) where they had family craft time at AO where kids and parents could come color a plain white lanyard.

Kids have always gotten really nice free lanyards at adventure ocean. We ended up purchasing us a couple at the RCCL Logo Shop.
