The Sun has definitely tendered in Santorini. Can't remember if it was in March or earlier this month though!

But you will miss the sail in/out which I really enjoyed every time I've visited Kotor. We are due to sail in on 19th August. We also have Santorini on our itinerary for the 13th. Losing those two ports would be really disappointing despite having been to both many times!

Here in the UK we have no choice but to collect the medallions at embarkation. The time taken is no different from when we all had to collect our cruse cards, so I just don't understand why so many people get needlessly stressed about having them posted out prior to the cruise. Sorry if I sound unsympathetic, but the time you spent on the phone was just pointless.

As a lowly Deluxe Balcony Sun passenger this August I do have some sympathy for all you rich "Suite" people. The Sanctuary situation aboard the Sun is turning into a right "Dog's dinner" of a mess. But surely there will be many Suite guests who will happily make the most of their extra large balconies and the extra deck space afforded to those with Cabana rooms, instead of making a "B line" to the Sanctuary every day! Whilst I have enjoyed the Sanctuary aboard Regal Princess on a couple of days, I won't miss it on the Sun. Instead I will happily "Slum it" up in the Sea View terrace.

Where's your spirit of adventure! We've gone up all 588 steps and down a couple of times. It's fun dodging the donkeys when you see a train of them coming towards you. We also wear older shoes so we aren't bothered by what we might tread in! A refreshing beer at the end is so much more rewarding too.

In that case our 13th August Sun visit to Santorini will be doubtful. I've checked what other ships are in that day and the passenger total would be almost 12,000! We've been many times but always enjoy returning. For first timers I can imagine the disappointment. Crete is a poor substitute IMHO

That’s odd. We got ours within 24 hours of applying via the U.K. email address the other week, and we don’t sail until 10 August. Not even paid the final balance yet either!

I'm always disappointed if I don't feel the ship rolling on my cruises at some point.

I too share the OP's view. I love the freedom the Plus package gives me for drinks, but I'm not a wine snob so the Premier package would be a waste. I'm not a foodie either, but I do like to go to Sabatini's once or twice. I will also happily pay the difference for French champagne as the "fizzy stuff" the cruise lines offer within the Plus package is pretty awful.

Curious to know why upgrading to a suite negates the requirement for drinks, Wifi, and crew appreciation cover?

Surely consideration for others works both ways!

Eating Eton Mess or a Strawberry Pavlova does that to me everytime, but they are my favourite desserts! 😂

I didn't need to bother with the stockperks email. I simply completed the pdf shareholder request form via the link above I got my OBC confirmation the day after I submitted the form via email. This was last week btw. For USA and Canada the email address is sbpcl@princesscruises.com. For the UK it's benefits@princesscruises.co.uk

Been to Mykonos many times. On Celebrity the ships berth (perhaps due to the Greek captains getting first dibs!) so there is a shuttle bus all day long from the cruise ship berth to the town. For our Princess visits however we’ve always had tenders take us to the town’s harbour. You can also get a little ferry from the cruise ship dock to the harbour which costs few euro’s.

I downloaded the app but wasn't happy so I applied for the OBC the old fashioned way! I completed the Princess Benefits claim form and emailed it to them with a copy of the Carnival share certificate. Received confirmation of the OBC added the next day and my Cruise Personalizer confirmed it, so I removed the Stockperks app. Simples!
