  1. The letter DOESN'T say they crew made a wrong turn. It says, in essence, the home office plotted the Inside Passage (but apparently didn't book the pilot). The crew plotted the Pacific route west of Vancouver. The offer is pretty generous. 10% of a 15 or 20 day cruise? For missing the Inside Passage? Pretty generous.
  2. As this is specific to NCL, have you asked on the NCL board?
  3. No question. Just a very brief report. There are many people who ask here about ground transport ideas and costs. Of course, most don't look for other's reports.
  4. That is something you do any time you check a bag(s).
  5. Hmmm....I don't know the actual answers to your questions, but adding up the various extras, it's seems like a ton of work and bopping around to save a few dollars.
  6. Welcome to Cruise Critic! More details would be helpful...departing airport, date, etc. This will be moved to Cruise Air, I am sure.
  7. I agree with the others, some terminals look like warehouses, have passed through a few ourselves. It happens. Would a more enticing place be better? Perhaps, but typically you spend very little time there. You spend far more time in an airport. As to difficulty finding the disability area, that is probably simply a matter of signage. Very easy to fix. Please tell us what port you are referring to.
  8. Your bags will pass directly to your Athens flight. You don't have to collect and re-check.
  9. Georges Taxi is frequently discussed here, and highly recommended.
  10. They are about the same requirements to get to. However, Celebrity won't go to Glacier Bay, Princess will. Take Princess.
  11. OK, a little confusing...you have a possible flight at 11:42? Take it. Agree, get a taxi, you can be off the ship easily by 8am. The logistics at Port Everglades are discussed daily on the Florida Departures board. One of the easiest ports in the world to disembark at.
  12. @Philob, you make some good points. Note Princess has a ship there year around...it sails to Hawaii and Mexico during the non-Alaska season.
