brownie9 Posted August 17, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 17, 2017 Just booked a cruise on the Regal and was assigned Marina Deck 202, at the front of the ship. Question: Will I be located under the sky walk and have people looking onto my balcony at all times. I can't see where the sky walk is located from the pictures. Thanks, Brownie9 Diane

Thanks, Brownie9 Diane No - you are way forward of the Skywalk. Check out the deck plans on Princess.com it is very clear.

Potstech Posted August 17, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 17, 2017 Did you ask them to assign you a room on that deck? Look at the deck plans and see if maybe something in a different location might make you happier. Never hurts to try.
Wishing on a star Posted August 17, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 17, 2017 Yes, do check out the deck plans and familiarize yourself with the ship. For quiet and privacy, one usually wants to avoid locations under the pool deck, or under/above loud venues, etc. We chose a cabin with a smaller balcony, instead of one on Emerald Deck, because of foot traffic on the Promenade just below. Your cabin should be okay, with nothing but the forward cabins on Lido above it. Should be no issues with the skywalk or any noise from the deck above. It is a higher deck, forward, which means that one might feel a more motion when it is not smooth sailing. But, I am thinking that other than that, should be fine. easyboy Posted August 17, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 17, 2017 Only a few frequently use the skywalk. Probably some are afraid of heights.
