Welcome back followers and new comers!!!

Now that I'm officially within the one day mark, I'm starting my posts.

First off a modified copy of the disclaimer and information slab of text from last year's journey.

I'm not much in the way of a writer/reviewer. My options are just that, mine. I try to stick with factual information and avoid confrontational topics. So don't expect to hear such items of discussion such as the estimated percentage of number of people wearing shorts in the MDR on Formal night or ratio of pepper grinders to tables.

I'll do my best to report back things like cost of the drink packages and if any discounts are being offered to Diamonds and above.

Like I did in 2016, on Allure and Oasis, I'll do my best to provide pictures upon request. Don't be upset if I'm unable to get something I'm comfortable with.

I really enjoy it when content is partly driven by the community.

Also, keep an eye on Twitter/Periscope for any material not posted here.

I'll also be monitoring, and when possible giving information, twisterfreak2280's: LIVE Oasis of the Seas - January 15 to 22nd

On board background information.

Jan 15th 2017 sailing (7n) Western: Port Canaveral, Sea Day, Labadee, Falmouth, Sea Day, Cozumel, Sea Day

This time around I'm going to be a commoner. I’ll be in a Central Park Balcony room on deck 12.

Pre-purchased the Deluxe Drink Package and Voom, think it was called Sip and Stream ($392.39 [$49 a day, plus 14.5% service charge]). This was a Black Friday/Cyber Monday Special.

Pre-purchased First Night Done Right.

This will tide me over until I board the Harmony.

Could you do a favor if you have a chance? Post a photo of the Drink Package flyer and price and ask if they charge sales tax if you buy it on board?

Thanks!

Will do

We stayed at that Homewood Suites as well. Very nice, new hotel. Booked a pre-cruise room for our June Oasis cruise as well.

Have a great trip! Save your Cruise compass to post when you get back home! :D

If you have the occasion to pick up the kids activity information dailies, I'd love to share those with my kiddos to get them excited about planning!

Agree, it is a nice property. While it doesn't have the all the resort bells and whistles the Radisson has. It is a nice quiet hotel.

Thanks for posting another review! I enjoyed the last one, especially your DPDRs (drink package damage reports). Will be staying at the Homewood precruise for the 4/2 Oasis sailing. What room is that view from? Would love to see a snapshot of the hotel layout from the back of the room door if there is one.

Thanks again in advance for your review!

If I remember, I'll try to get a picture from the elevator lobby. The elevators are in the smaller leg of the building.

Does this hotel offer parking while you are on your cruise and if so, how much?
