Thanks for posting. I was hoping this promo was going to be offered soon.

Just received information from my TA about the 3 for Free promotion beginning on 9/5/17 which shows the OBC amounts. It's valid for up to 4 passengers in any type of cabin and has a $100 refundable deposit.

It'll be interesting to see how our Spring 2019 net cost compares to our current S+S price but for our oceanview cabin in Summer 2018 the 3 for Free will provide us with free tips, OBC & category upgrade. :D

If you have a 7 day cruise already booked, and it included S&S, can you add the free gratuities on this promotion or pick one over the other?

Same train, on another booking, same cruise different cabin, already made on an inside cabin (so no S&S) , can you add the free gratuities?

If it is before final payment, you can switch to the new promotion. But you will get the new price and the new promotion - you will not keep anything from the old promotion.

You can only use one promotion & not combine benefits. Decide which has your best net cost because cruise fares may be different for each promotion.

I figured that but I keep reading how people have a cruise booked, then a new promotion comes on such as S&S, and they get it added to their already booked cruise.....so it really seems a bit undefined.

If the price is the same they can get it added. If the new promotion price is higher than the original booking, you have to pay the new price to get the new promotion.

I think that posters should be more careful/specific about how they phrase such things...

They did not "call and get an AIBP added for free".

They re-booked, at whatever the current fare happened to be (maybe the same) when the AIBP promotion was offered.

When one does this, then by re-booking they are losing any perks and benefits that were include with the original booking.

Just seems so unlikely that Princess would add anything for free.

But, isn't the one thing that is consistent with Princess, some of the inconsistencies!!!

If it is a sold out cruise, interior cabin was booked for a family member with no extra perks (S&S was Balcony+)....has anyone experienced that with new promotions that start? My guess is another no-go :o

You cannot rebook under a new promotion unless your category is available under the new promotion. If you category is sold out, then Princess does not offer a price for that category and you cannot rebook a cabin in that category under the new promotion. You can book another available category under the new promotion and you can then try to change back to your original cabin if no one else has booked it while it was available. I have done this successfully, but it is a gamble that you might lose your original cabin to someone else.

There appears to be contradictory statements in the description of the offer and the terms & conditions.

The T&C states "These fares do not apply to singles or third/fourth-berth guests" but the description states "all guests in a stateroom can enjoy this deal!". :confused:

Me too. I booked under the $1 deposit promotion, called Princess when S & S promotion came out. Was told that nothing changed to my booking, only that the S & S was added. I was surprised how easy it was, and that I didn't need to "rebook" the trip including putting down a new deposit ( as the $1 is unrefundable :D

Hi! I have a caribe balcony booked, which is considered a premium balcony. In the description of the sale it excludes premium categories. Does that mean my caribe balcony won't be eligible for the sale?

I have a lower category cabin booked, if I am correct, the category that I would really want to be upgraded would actually be two category steps. Example, from a Forward standard balcony to a Mid-ship standard balcony.

I wonder if our TA could get that for us if we changed from Sip-and-Sail to Three for Free. Hhhhmmm???

If the fare does not change, it would actually cost about the same if we give up Sip and Sail and were to only buy the AIDP for me.

DH would have to buy some drinks on his own, and he would want the coffee card. He likes to make that coffee run to International Cafe in the mornings!
