Is 3/26/17 a Soting Break?? Carnival Breeze

Want to cruise 3/26/17 - 4/2/17 on Carnival Breeze but want to avoid Spring Break. Does anyone know if that is a Spring Break Week??

There isn't one date for spring break. Elementary & high schools are usually the week before or after Easter which is April 16th this year. Colleges can be almost any time in the spring.

I think you'd be ok cruising at the end of March.

Since you are on the Breeze you are going out of Galveston. Most cruises out of Galveston have cruisers from Texas and surrounding states. As you probably know Texas will already have had their Spring Breaks ending before March 26. The same for the surrounding states. I am talking about schools before college. Most colleges also have their Spring Breaks before this time. Now there are schools further north and east that have later spring breaks but most of the time they are sailing out of Florida.

This is during the break between quarters for my school.

It would help to know where you are located. If in the Northeast most people from there don't cruise out of Galveston. I am not saying that people from there don't cruise out of Galveston but just that the number is relatively small. If close to Galveston it could have an effect. I have cruised out of Galveston 3 times and 2 times on our Spring Break (Oklahoma-mid March). All three times the ship was almost all from Texas and surrounding states (OK, LA, AR, KS, MO)

The only time we had problems with too many teenage and college age kids on a cruise was on a Carnival ship out of Charleston.

This is prime Spring Break week for most public schools here in Indiana - parochial schools tie theirs to Easter.
