Each patient is different. I took Tramadol at least 3 separate times after various surgeries with no adverse affects. In fact, I felt it wasn't as effective for pain relief as hydrocodone was. Again, safe travels home, good luck with a successful surgery and heal quickly.

Greg, my kidney doctor told me no compression socks when I sleep. Good advice found in here besides compression socks during the day; feet up if possible when sitting, walking is great, I take a water pill every other day, as little alcohol and salt as possible. You're aware of the problem and I'm sure you'll find the best plan for your health, under a doctor's advice.
