Where can I find descriptions of benefits associated with suits on other Princess ships like separate restaurants, pool area, lounge??

My interest sparked because we liked to be in separate areas by the pool or dining, especially in the large ship. SF of the suite is not a critical issue for us. Added privileges are more important to us. After trying NCL Haven, we really enjoyed small ship inside the big ship experience. It is cost more.

I just received an email, stating that Princess is introducing Signature suites - similar idea to NCL Haven, MSC Yacht club and Celebrity Retreat. What do you think?

What a different experience we had. Living in New England, we are spoiled eating great lobsters and Murano lobster we had dozen of time was our most favorite. Simply exquisite.

In order to keep your " booking on board OBC" you need to transfer that booking # (not canceling) to another preferred booking.

Your scenario only good if you want to continue to sail with Celebrity. In the past, if we confident in keeping the booking and economics worked - I changed to NRD with upgrades. This works for us. Everybody have their own reasons to book NRD or RD.

The risk is $500. But, it gives me flexibility to make changes to the ship and date or cancel all together since the cruise is 18 months away. Always can change to NRD.

I just priced a few 7 days sailings from PC. For the same balcony category price for a cruise $3700 with AL and refundable deposit. We will be going on 10 days on Equinox in November for $2900 with AL and refundable deposit, booked about a year ago. AQ now - around $5000 for 7 days. We used sailed AQ primarily in the past, but now there is absolutely nothing X is offering that worth that price. No X cruises booked for next year. Will be sailing on new Sun Princess in Med and MSC YC in the Carib. I think X might be pricing themself out from competition.

After 25 years of cruising with Celebrity, based on a lot of reviews - this cut and that cut... we tried NCL Haven and had a wonderful cruise. Food and service were impeccable, our butler was absolutely great. Suites was very specious, large bathroom, hot tub in the suite. We didn't care for Free style cruising, but otherwise amenities, that comes with Haven are better than in Retreat. Next year we are planning to try MSC YC.

With current flights delays, I would not recommend to fly the same day so close to the sailing time. But if Celebrity Air is offering flights, they should guarantee to get you on board one way or another. Read their Terms and evaluate your options. Same applies to return flights. Sometime there are delays in clearing the ship, so don't assume you will be out by 7-8 am.

I hope PC will be a beneficial to cruise out port for us, since we are about an hour drive from NSB. But last may we sailed from PC, it took us an hour in line to get to a parking garage. It was a mess.

Being loyal Celebrity cruisers, sailing often in AQ, decided to try something new and different. We absolutely enjoyed NCL Haven, food and service was superb. Didn't care for NCl ships or overall atmosphere. After our last X cruise on Equinox this year we will be trying new Princess ship in the Mediterranean and MSC YC in 2024. There are definitely a lot of ships out there to choose from.

We had wonderful Maine lobsters as many as you want in NCL Haven cruise few months ago for fraction of the Retreat price. It seems that in some itineraries Celebrity is priced themself out from other competitors. Sad.

Lobster is mostly the reason we dine in Murano. If they take it away - will have reconsider booking Murano again.

I don't think you will like to pay for the suite with all perks and be downgraded to a regular cabin. Not a comparison to the end of the world.

Hopefully this is just an error on X part. We were considered to try for the first time MSC Yacht Club. Before we booked I found out that in their contract they can change cabin without any notification and even more some people got downgraded from YC to a regular cabin.
