  1. SHUT. UP. Seriously, I was already super excited…1st Retreat, @mac_tlc and now @GenerationX. (And it looks like several others here too!!) WOO HOO!!
  2. I was SO tickled when I found this thread this morning--and SURPRISED! (hey, didn't she JUST do the Celebrity/MSC challenge? Not like I am sailing that much...🤫) Have a wonderful week with your sweetie! BUT HOLD ON--WHEN are you sailing the Beyond in April??!! @mac_tlc alerted me to the Retreat DEAL on the Beyond April 9--it was basically the same price as our interior on Beyond in December...so we JUMPED. Excited to be sailing with @mac_tlc again.
  3. hmmmmmmmm Interesting to be sure.... I think we will be good with our "regular" S1 suite....
  4. Sailed Sapphire in October on the Dolphin deck, no issues at all. Sorry to hear this happened...things can happen situationally but I don't believe it to be a fleetwide issue.
  5. Called today (embarkation day), cancelled & email verification
  6. Guest services said I had to call. Called while waiting to reboard & got email confirmation for all cancellations!
  7. Yes; they said they cannot handle next week’s. NCL said the same…last August. Ridiculous
  8. I am currently on Divina & staying on tomorrow. Freak snowstorm has son unable to join me. This is a comped cruise via Urcomped. I have reached out to them but no response yet. We have added internet for 2, Drink packages for 2 & a couple excursions. I need to cancel/modify these as well. Just call MSC tomorrow when we hit Miami? On other lines such a thing is handled easily…hoping so on MSC…(this is my 1st MSC cruise)
  9. We would like to cancel them but I don’t see where to do that online. Anyone know how?
  10. Booked Beyond in Dec while onboard Equinox. NR $200 deposit, got $550 OBC, $100pp change fee if we change. If I want to change this booking to another date, is calling the only way to do it? Realize we will have to pay change fee. Will our OBC carry over to the new booking? Thx all
  11. Gotcha. On 2 Edge sailings & 1 Apex, dinner was offered only once--I think that's the only time they move it to deck 5.
  12. Celebrity mattresses are the HARDEST. I like a firm mattress but not HARD. Other lines (NCL, RCCL, Princess, Carnival) are not nearly as hard, imo. No bartender? Magic Carpet does NOT move while anyone is on it...We loved just sitting out there with a drink & a book. But it is gimmicky, I agree.
  13. We sailed Caribbean Princess last summer. We had not sailed Princess in 10 years (no particular reason...) & LOVED it! We love Princess pizza! Yes, Tito's is included--it is my vodka of choice.
  14. I am doing a B2B starting Sunday. My DS will be joining me for the 2nd leg in MIA next Friday. His check in time says 3PM (which seems like a crazy check in time with a 6PM ship departure). He has to check out of his hotel at 11; no idea what he would do with luggage for 4 hours other than perhaps hang at the hotel pool or bar.... Is MSC (at MIA) sticklers about check in times? Thx
  15. Hell of a deal--that is 65%+ cheaper than in the US. And probably REAL tequila...not mescal pretending to be tequila that we buy in the US. NICE.
  16. THANK YOU--DID NOT SEE THIS! That worked, thx so much!!
  17. So the credit is onboard credit not an initial discount? It says "5% discount"
  18. Some other lines offer a bit of OBC & such if you book another cruise while onboard. Does MSC? I sail Sunday (my solo getaway whilst DH has a golf trip) & we are looking at an MSC cruise next January. Great price. Should I book now or wait until I'm onboard? Thx
  19. That is a tad misleading. Continental breakfast that would include coffee is still complimentary. And the room service fee is $10--which I agree is highway robbery; luckily we never order room service anyway.
  20. Different cruise lines have different sized luggage tags, and we aren't brand loyal (tho we have our preferences). Plus one more thing to pack, gotta remember to print the tags. I'm good. I had to PRINT boarding passes for my Divina cruise this week. I do not remember the last time I did that!!! Been using cruiseline apps for several years.
  21. Sailing with DH this time... I booked solo studio in August & bid on balcony & won. Pretty sure I woulda been fine..
  22. No idea! I checked the email confirmation dates on mine. Id check daily…but I’m neurotic like that
  23. Huh, I've tried 2 times & there is never a spot to enter my VC number. Even tried it logged in & logged off. Bizarre.
  24. When I look at prices, whether I am logged in or not I get the same price. Is the discount applied at the end or do I have to call?
  25. Price is no different🙄
