Do you happen to know when the ship docks in the mornings? I have the port times, but I suspect the ship is docked much earlier and there are some calls I would like to make around 5am (which is 8am PST).

The stay and park only includes 7 days of parking. If you're going on a longer cruise it's $15/day.

If you could post a couple of the Patters (for at-sea days) after you get back from Hawaii, I would really appreciate it! I will be on the July 6 sailing.

Thank you for your answers while on board@jaycruising! I'm enjoying the food photos since that will probably be similar to my upcoming cruise, with some regional additions for Hawaii, hopefully. I just read that the NCL Sun (couple of days behind you) is delayed in Cartagena with electrical problems 😧

So more family activities when there are lots of kids on board, even outside the kids/teen clubs? My kids are older, so they would like trivia, but not crafts or karaoke 😁

Also, I will be on the Emerald for a Hawaiian cruise in July. I and one of my kids would really like to know what the activities will be. Do you think that the Patters for this (Panama) cruise or the Hawaii live (on the Crown) would be a good predictor for what we will get? Or some combo of both? I know from our roll call that we will have Hawaiian ambassadors on board, so we will at least have those programs 🙂

Did you check the men's change room or the women's? I was on the Ruby a few years ago and there was a sauna or steam room in the women's dressing room.

On a related note: how do you pay for tokens? Do you need quarters or do you use your medallion?

I know it doesn't really matter, but just curious, do you mean menus post at 12:00am the day before? As in Sunday at 12:01 a.m., the menu for Monday dinner will be available?

Will MDR menus be posted then too?

So, if I'm on a cruise until the end of July and immediately apply for a renewal when I return, I wonder if that will be enough time for it to come back before a possible cruise in December (nearly 5 months)?

Sure, in the old days, when you mailed in a physical passport. But with online renewal, there's no reason to cancel it while they're processing the new one.

I have 3 teens sailing on a 16-day cruise with many at-sea days. They have been in the Kids Club in the past, but were a *bit* disruptive 😐 Can I get input on whether the teen program is useful? I don't know how much my kids (aged 14, 14, and 16) would want to use it, but figured we would sign them up and see. Also, slightly related: can I "deactivate" their medallions for on-board spending or set a $ limit? I don't think they would abuse it, but are more likely to lose their medallions than me.
