  1. I’m gonna need a bigger shelf.
  2. I don’t know the status of the current WiFi setup on Marina, but it’s working, I’m posting, we’ll try to post a picture later.
  3. Our dinner in Red Ginger was great. Service was great, no issues getting wine service. We shared the To Share app and my wife had the Sole Tempura and I had the Bulgogi Ribeye. Both were as excellent as we’ve ever had in RG.
  4. Oh, I don’t mean it in an offensive way. More along the lines of those that are easily influenced by manipulation and propaganda. Kind of like those that watch a certain network nonstop. It’s complicated, but if you feel good about it keep doing it. But you’re not going to save the planet. That is if the planet needs saving.
  5. Well sometimes it’s not for all the right reasons. Not sure they want to be seen, but some times you can’t unsee it.
  6. Probably won’t ever come back here again. But enjoy your trips here.
  7. I don’t know what’s wrong with those folks that are up in arms about not wanting to cruise on Marina because it hasn’t had it’s update and won’t get the same as Riviera. It still looks great. Our B4 is in excellent shape.
  8. Don’t expect much in the way of a live review. I don’t do conventional. Just random observations. While having my lunch I was approached by someone that asked if we wanted to dine in a speciality tonight. We said sure and he offered Toscana. I said we have it tomorrow night. How about Red Ginger? No problem, 2 for 6:30. So as pointed out many times, don’t waste your picks on the first night. I could have missed that by boarding later and having a local lunch, but I’ve seen enough of Rio. My cheese burger in Terrace was delicious.
  9. Actually today I asked where the Priority line was and they pointed me to the Suite line. Must have been an informed employee or she misunderstood my question.
  10. Not really, my hand carry luggage space is too valuable to waste with water bottles. I don’t need to feel good about myself and keep refilling a nasty germ ridden container all the time. I’m fine with single use bottles. Enjoy your koolaid.
  11. Lots of loungers on embarkation day today on Marina.
  12. I’m guessing you don’t go through TSA checkpoints too often.
  13. Don’t know if it still is but a few years ago Waffle House was the # 1 restaurant in Gulf Shores AL on Trip Advisor. 🤡
  14. I think this is on par with Priority Terminal Checkin. Any time I’ve ever mentioned it they look at me like I’ve got 3 heads. I just get in an empty line and act like I know what I’m doing.
  15. For me it would depend on what I’m upgrading from at that price. If an inside to a CV I’d be all over it, depending on ship, cruise length and my budget.
  16. Intelligence is a funny thing. I find many of the questions simple, others I'd never get, but my wife does. I certainly don't consider ourselves genius level, but generally between the two of us we can answer most of those questions. So I tend to agree with Pinot on this.
  17. So if the bottom rooms are $18 a day pp, then a 7 day cruise will be $252. I'm not sure Oceania has any cruises shorter, but they might. Of course as you know $250 is the max for anyone that didn't turn Silver before Nov of 2013 I think it is. See what I posted above. Even when you are SIlver and there is Occapp the most you're going to get in Extra OBC for the cabin is $250, with the above mentioned exception. Keep in mind this is EXTRA OBC for those that are Silver or higher. Now, if you are less than Silver any kind of paid gratuities are good, regardless of where it comes from.
  18. You are answering your own question. FF also gave you the answer in this reply "OCAPP is intended (at least in part) to encourage bookings where slow sales may be expected. " It's an incentive to boost bookings on itineraries that might need a little help. You chose the one without it because you favored the itinerary. I'm sure many others have done the same, therefore no need for them to "sweeten the pot".
  19. I've got a pile of them, I didn't know they started being on demand. I generally take one in my dopp kit anyway, but rarely ever need them on a cruise. I have used them at home a few times over the years.
  20. Could you tell us more on this? Hope it's not a new thing happening on Oceania.
  21. Don't forget toilet paper.
  22. Which was totally off topic, as you usually are, which is why the poster is confused.
