  1. So I think the person is asking about eating from a specialty restaurant in their room, in a convoluted sort of way. Not sure other posters are understanding that. So, if you are in a PH or higher you can have dinner from any specialty restaurant any night in your room. As noted, please give your butler a heads up in advance. Enjoy your cruise.
  2. Dislike, yet they talk about making future bookings.
  3. It feels like this cruise line is turning into Carnival or Princess.
  4. Are you both using TA's or going directly with Oceania?

Ok, it looks like the second time was the charm. I got a successful outcome with an Evisa number. Thank you again for all your assistance. Now I'll be hearing the old Tom Petty song, The Waiting, in my head. It could be worse.

I just completed my wife's and her's went through. I am using Edge. So you're saying instead of going to the payment page, which it brings up when I log in, to start all over? We are a bit of a hurry, leaving Jan 19th.

I got sent to a login page and it said 7 steps out of 7 complete, submission pending.

It was before. I decided to not use that and do a separate application for my wife. I did the payment but didn't get the Success paget you show or a confirmation number. I see it pending on my CC acct but no confirmation email. When I log back in it takes me back to the payment page. Any advice? Thanks.

I didn't see any guidance where it says add applicant. Is this where I put my wife's information or do we start a whole new application? Thanks

I noticed on your tutorial that you said only send in the Photo page of your passport. Elsewhere I read that someone was also asked for their signature page. I have the new style passport that has 2 photo pages, one has all the info, the other has the signature line. They are page 2 and 3. Do you know which is correct? Thanks for all the great information you've provided to help those of us struggling with this.
  11. I've taken that a couple of times on Oceania out of Miami. I think the last one we forgot to go to Bermuda. We got Jacksonville instead. Lot's of people were upset.
  12. Ok, but since you don't know what you're missing then you really can't have an opinion on this subject.

I've read through your website tutorial and it is very helpful. Thank you for posting this. I'm getting all my information together to do this. Perhaps you know the answer to this question. I moved at the first of Oct. I've updated my address with my bank, but I just looked at my latest statement closing 12/15 and they have my previous address on it. My question is do you think or know if this will be a problem with it being different than my current address?
  14. I don't believe they have that. I'm always a bit leery of companies that have user reviews on their website. A third party review is ok, except for the manipulators and influencers.
  15. Historically the art class was free and the cooking class has a fee. I don't know if there is a materials charge in the Artist Loft. Maybe someone that has actually been can chime in. My art tends to be stick figures.
  16. Yet, we had a prolific poster here that is no longer with us that insisted that the wine or alcohol provided in the 6 bottle set up for the upper suites wasn't supposed to leave your room. I don't agree with that.
  17. That's a really good plan, and one I follow often. Don't forget that the second night is usually Captain's Welcome Party and there are open bars in 2 or 3 locations for 3 hours.
  18. It's a grey area and gets various opinions when discussed here before. My personal take is that you are paying for it in the suite fare and you are not abusing the system. I personally don't really care what others think and if they are examining your drinkware to that extent then perhaps they should mind their own business and go have a little fun. I like GrammieK's answer the best. Whether or not the drinkware from the cabin is different seems to be one of those urban myths things around here. Maybe they are, maybe they're not. But if a person really was intent on bringing drinks from their room there are plenty of ways to get around it. For personal alcohol brought onboard it's really on the honor system. Each person has to make their own decisions on how honorable they are. One point to the OP, you asked about the limit. There is no limit but there are a lot of drinks that are not included in the Prestige package. Here is the way it works, if it's on the Bar Menu or can be made from alcohol on the Bar Menu then it's on the package. Now, if you purchase something that is not included it's not like Celebrity, Royal or other lines that charge the difference. You will be charged the full amount. Examples are some Single Malts in Polo, Horizons or other bars, a special beer brought in locally, Sake in Red Ginger, just to throw a few out there. If in doubt always ask before ordering, the bartenders and servers generally know what is and isn't covered.
  19. I've seen the blue tooth speaker thing on Oceania also. Right out by the pool in front of the Waves Bar(in the middle, not on the port side like O ships) on one of the R ships. No one said anything to them.
  20. Maybe it's the lighting, but mine appears to be a much brighter blue. If it has a zipper and a divider in the middle then I do think that is the older one.
  21. For breakfast I absolutely want it just the two of us. I don't want to make small talk and chit chat early in the day. Especially if I had a bit of fun the night before. Lunch, I'd probably prefer to not share, but dinner either way works.
  22. On another cruise line we were in a similar situation, but we were past Madeira. They turned the ship around and went back to the point where a helicopter could reach us. They dropped a basket and put the passengers stretcher in it The helicopter flew right by our balcony. We went faster than they normally would but we made it to Miami on time.
  23. Probably during your cruise they’ll be putting on the varnish. That’ll smell great. On the bright side for some it looks like the smoking area is off limits. At least there’s not that to complain about. 😷
  24. There is an occasional poster here that has a program that tracks these things. They track multiple cruise lines. I’m sorry but I don’t remember their handle. Maybe they will see this and chime in.
