Nope, not removed on O class. Not sure what was going on with Regatta but OCA mentioned in her talk that it’s available for an extra charge. If it was available to you and other’s on Regatta then it was a bonus. Did anyone or Currents mention that it was open to all or is that assumed because the lock didn’t work? FWIW the lock on Regatta wasn’t working in September of 22.

No problem today on Marina around the pool, Horizons is another thing.

We were scheduled to see Admiralty Bay-and Half Moon Bay today. The 👨‍✈️ worked in Maxwell Bay which our narrator had not been to before and was first time for Marina to be there. So that was neat. Interesting that today is Groundhog Day and we will get up tomorrow and pretty much do what we did today, and then the next day we’ll do it again. 🦦

Woke up to icebergs outside our window. I’m not sure what advice to give on the laundry. I’d say just have everything you brought clean before the Drake and Antarctic portion of your cruise. It’s not that cold. I don’t remember the bag offer before the laundry being closed.

Never fail to be amazed at people that don’t understand how the laundry works. If you can’t tell time or think you’re the only person on the ship then the self serve laundry is not for you. Thankfully for you I put your laundry in a basket 🧺 that you left finished in the dryer over 35 minutes. Meanwhile it’s a nice sunny 🌞 day and there are people out sunning by the pool. I think the Captain 🧑‍✈️ said it’s 54f.

Ok, I was wrong when the laundry closes, it’s tonight at midnight. I interpreted the wording wrong. We threw a couple of loads in just now. I’m sure my trivia mates will be glad to hear I’ll have clean underwear on. Speaking of trivia Peter just announced at the end of morning trivia we won’t have trivia for the next three days due to naturalists speaking on the Tannoy system. Doesn’t he know that the only reason we spend thousands of dollars to go on cruises is to play trivia that we don’t know the answers to? Jim, I might be wrong and someone can correct me if I am, but I think the top 3 suites can make their specialty reservations as soon as final payment is made. Either way you’re not going to have much competition for times and restaurants.

Last year he said they came here 3 times and only tendered once. Here’s some information for the anti Oceania group that seem to be infesting this board lately. We got a notice last night that the Self Serve laundry will be closed for the next 5 days due to water conservation as we traverse the Drake passage and the Antarctic Peninsula. 5 days until we port again, YET, wait for it, YET, in the same stack of papers we get an offer for a 24.95 bag of laundry special. Pretty poor timing in my opinion. We can’t use the laundry but they’re pushing the paid service. ✅ it’s a conspiracy I tell ya. Good thing I did laundry a couple of days ago. This morning we’re rolling around pretty good, but nothing severe. Our cabin is a B4 up towards the front of the ship, so I’m hoping it doesn’t get too bad. Dinner in Jacques last night. A couple of things I noticed from times past. The Puff Pastry Sea Bass was smaller than what I’ve seen in the past. My Iberico pork chop was smaller as was my wife’s lobster. No one went hungry though. Perhaps smaller portions make sense. Especially with multiple courses.

It was a glorious day in Stanley. One of smoothest tendering operations I’ve ever seen. Yet somebody who was late getting to the tour was complaining how it was running late. This after Peter had explained that patience was the order of the day, and due to the distance, number of people to tender, and variables in tendering could affect schedules. Go figure. We were in port with Norwegian Sun. Lot of folks here today.

Here is one, there are others of people onboard getting refunds or additional tours, but I’m not going to waste time digging them up for you. Have you personally experienced losing your SM credits?

Just as an addition to this thread, the cruise I’m on right now has 12 ports, we’ve been to 6 of them. The only change has been to 1, Punte del Este, from 8am to 10 am. That was announced on 11/13/23. I realize that could change in an instant.

It seems you were referring to 2 or 3 different posters. I’m not sure if some people should be insulted but disregarded might be a good idea. I it seems some are just here to argue and prove how right they are, when in reality they are completely misinformed and inexperienced about cruising.
