Are the Solo rooms Concierge level? They are definitely smaller.
-
I'm not familiar with those, I see where that can be what he's talking about.
-
It varies but most of the time the shuttles are provided by the cities, but that doesn't stop Oceania from telling you it's a perk you get in most ports.

I'm pretty sure you could get a Margarita at Horizons, Martinis, or the Grand Bar, as well as the new bar on Vista. Now, getting a frozen margarita might be a little different. But I think the OP is asking about gaming the system and getting a spirit mixed in with the wine under the package. Ain't gonna happen, unless you have the Prestige package. My wife enjoys the Sangritas at some of the local Mexican restaurants. I think something like that would be enjoyable on a cruise.

What kind of cabin did you end up with after booking a guarantee?

Why does this seem like Deja Vu all over again? -
The bigger question is why do people insist on calling in to Oceania when they can get a quicker and more accurate answer here. But if you really want to get bad information try using Mark Z's platform. Wow, wow, wow. Are people stupid or do they give wrong information on purpose?

Meow something or another I think was her name.

Just where is old what's her name that used to post all the dimensions of rooms etc.? Maybe on the Silversea forum.

Vista Review - Roman Rivièra’s July 25th – August 4th.

And this is what everyone should do. I enjoyed the review and appreciate all the time and effort put into it. It is concerning that it appears that there seems to be a lot of people "Moving Up" that just don't understand what a classier line is all about. But I've cruised enough to know that this can vary from itinerary to itinerary. -
They require a number up to a certain time, then open it up to just going straight to the tender area. As already explained you get your number in the Lounge. I've read the top suites get escorted straight to the tenders.

Excellent perception and one that someone new to Oceania needs to understand. I thought much the same when I read Slewis7's post.

That seems to be an improvement, I think.

Has anyone figured out the Vista laundry machines?
ORV replied to kayakcove's topic in Oceania Cruises
If you say so, but I might like some words to go along with those symbols, at least the first time. -
This is on the By The Glass menu or what they put in the Concierge and up rooms for a Welcome?

Is Red Ginger a Thai restaurant? I just thought it was Asian Fusion, whatever that means.

Quit standing on your head.

Just one point of order here. I guess sometimes what we think we know and what is actually so is different. A, Only casual jeans are not allowed, the exact description of non casual jeans doesn't seem to exist though. B. There is no prohibition to wearing jeans anywhere on the ship after dinner or after a certain time. There are some lines that do this, Oceania is not one of them. See below, bolding is mine. "Recommended on board clothing is resort or country club casual. For evening dining, elegant casual resort wear is suggested. We request that casual jeans, shorts, t-shirts, baseball caps, sandals, or tennis shoes not be worn in the restaurants after 6 PM." Thanks for your review.

I don't know about others but we've had good luck with trading it for something sparkling. It was actually pretty good, don't remember the name, but even if it's average a little orange juice and you have a morning mimosa. We've also got a white wine for it and made sangria, enough fruit and juice anything is tolerable.

Miami, Ft Lauderdale? Is there any real difference?

Anyone else's booked cruise disappear today?
ORV replied to shepherd really's topic in Oceania Cruises
I've had to do that one time in 14 years. It was within the last year. -
I'm going to have to disagree with the no drinks from the room for those that are in a suite that get the 6 bottle setup. There are no posted rules concerning it, but it comes as part of your fare, it's a perk for booking an upper suite. Since you have already paid for it there should be no problem with taking it out and about on the ship. Just my opinion, I'm sure others may not agree with it. But, if you request wine as part of your 6 bottles you can take it to dinner, and there is no corkage, just like any ship supplied wine or one you buy onboard. Probably not a dilemma I will have anytime soon. What you bring onboard with you is another kettle of fish, or bottle of rum altogether.

I'd be interested, depending on the fare. We've done 32 days, a little long, but a double TA sounds fun.
