  1. Well said, falling on deaf ears, but spot on.
  2. I would say no, but you can probably change it, for a fee. I'd just spend it in Montreal, or any other Canadian ports.
  3. Historically I can deny this. I've purchased plenty of doubles on the Prestige package that were in excess of $30. Has it changed recently? That I don't know. In the past here is the rule "If it's on the Bar Menu it's part of the Prestige Package". Cost doesn't figure in. So are you saying his question is "Is there another package beyond House Select and Prestige?" If so, the answer is no.
  4. I'm not sure what the question is?
  5. I think the question is "can you use the SM credits for the Private Van or Car excursions?" With or without the 25% discount. A sub question would be if you can do they count toward your total that you need to get the 25% discount?
  6. It's happened, not sure how much currently.
  7. No, not really on Oceania Gary, surely you've checked the sqft.
  8. I'm reminded of the ol A & W Root Beer commercial every time some people post.
  9. Interestingly enough though the traditional wisdom is that IF you need or desire a larger bathroom on a R ship you need to book a PH or larger.
  10. If you're new to Oceania here's some advice, read more, post less. You'll be amazed at what you can learn. This is not just for the OP.
  11. My Dad always said "if wishes were wings a frog wouldn't bump his butt every time he jumped"
  12. Not on 12, only 7-11, but still that's much better than the R class.
  13. Did you have self serve in The Terrace on your past Oceania cruises?
  14. I'd say you did good, hopefully the airlines won't mess it up by changing things between now and then.
  15. Not singling you out but we have to spell it right to say it right. I see you got it right, some others no. I pronounce it both ways, just however I feel at the time.
  16. I realize this is an exercise in futility, but that ticket contract has always said they may hold it. Specific wording or numbers may have changed over the years, but it's never said it's ok to do it. BUT, in the 14 years I've been reading the Oceania board you are the first to say it was confiscated. Meanwhile many of Oceania regulars, myself included, has brought on hard liquor on pretty much every cruise they've been on with Oceania. Not saying it didn't happen to you, but it's never been the norm. Maybe you were observed pouring outside of your stateroom, or perhaps your file mentioned excessive drinking. Who knows.
  17. It is, but I'm not willing to spend extra money to get it. For some if you add up all the little perks then it becomes worth it. I don't mind any of the Concierge perks, they're just not worth spending money on for me. When I've been in that level or higher I find I really don't use the lounge or the spa terrace.
  18. What is the port in Montenegro? I've been to Kotor a couple of times and we always docked there.
  19. I'd be a no for that, but I don't really see a big value in the Concierge rooms. Bottle of champagne and 3 bags of laundry is only the real value. I see no value in the Concierge lounge or the Spa deck, but that's just me, others enjoy those perks. The rooms are exactly the same.
  20. No, not what SR. named it. As has been posted before the reason it has the i is that P &O already had a ship called Oceana, so they couldn't call it that. I'm certainly not one to listen to about word pronunciations, just ask my wife, but I call it O She Anna. But I also say O Shun for this word, Ocean. You'll hear many of the Captain's and French officers pronounce the "i"
  21. They knew we weren't leaving so probably didn't care what time we checked in.
