Absolutely safe and reliable company. They also do a lot of charity for the community. The place is awesome in the middle of nature and maybe you can walk the long hanging bridge (against a fee). Also their restaurant is in a nice place.

Much depends where you have to go to join your tour. According the port schedules in Vallarta Panorama most of the times docks at around 8.30. If your tour leaves from the port you will be ok, if you have to go to another place it might be too early.

With nowadays traffic the cab ride cannot be only 5-15 minutes, more 20 minutes and more! La Palapa is a well known restaurant with loungers with umbrellas at the ocean, not a real beachclub. The same for its excellent neighbor El Dorado.
