I remember the Equinox Retreat Lounge being updated with the blue/gray look. That was our 2nd cruise back after the restart. We did get a Luminae burger at the retreat sun deck on a port day. It seemed to take forever and we almost gave up. Hoping our butler will bring one to our suite in September. No key card entry but there is still a host/hostess stand. I really preferred it when they sat at a desk since I have problems with my back when I stand too long. Reflection has not been updated.

I suspect special orders in Luminae will go the way of the butlers fro sky suites and will be part of the upcharge for lobster.

This shouldn't be necessary. Once they scan your card it should come up as in a Suite and/or Elete+ so no charge would be incurred. Same with gelato or specialty dining when it is included.

It used to be very understandable what you got when you booked any suite in The Retreat. Now you need a PHD to figure it out. The surprise party department and the practical joke department have now taken over. The fairy godmother department has walked the plank it seems.

My husband always referred to the cuts as being the result of Harvard Business School graduates. Now he is saying they are coming from the surprise party department and the practical joke department. Occasionally the fairy godmother department would show up but seems they are still at the ball.

And imagine if someone in a SS is dining with someone in a CS or above. How would that go over.

I just saw that today, we are booked on the same cruise in March 2024 in a RS and December 2024 in a PH for way less than that price. However, I'm seriously expecting Celebrity to cancel or reroute the Beyond PC sailings. Just hope it happens before our final payment is due.

@CalTexCruiserThere are 27 Celebrity Suites and above on Reflection. Don't forget about the ones on deck 14.

Thanks for all the replies. We have 3 cruises booked on Celebrity, one in 15 days but 2 that can be cancelled. Our September cruise will tell us a lot more about the next 2 Celebrity cruises. It does sound like Oceania will be a good fit.

Did you contact either shoreside concierge for clarification?

I see them downgrading the beverage package and OBC for Sky Suites. I don't see them eliminating Luminae as this would overwhelm the MDR and Luminae would have very few diners. Not sure what I think about eliminating Retreat access.

Sorry to be dense, think I need an Aspen coffee. It is available every day but embarkation day.

If this was not just a screw up on Eclipse it belongs right up there with cost cutting and penny pinching. How much lower can Celebrity go?

It is a perk for Elite + and I've never know it to not be available on embarkation day.

@sixpackeddieI wonder if the reduction from 12 to 3 includes 3 for upper level suites, or will one of the 3 be the Retreat Butler.

Except we've been cruising and enjoying Murano's since well before 2018. I just looked at the menu the shoreside concierge sent us and it is the same as the one you posted. Looking on the app for our Equinox cruise it is the same menu we remember from years of dining in Murano's. We'll find out in 3 weeks or so.

Unfortunately, it is reaching that point for us. We are so close to Zenith but now don't care if we make it or not. Another thread had a sample menu for Murano's that eliminated the Dover Sole and lobster. While we don't care about the lobster, I have the recipe and make it with cold water lobster, we always looked forward to the Dover Sole. The rumors about further cuts to the Retreat are also concerning. We are cruising on Equinox on September 2 and that cruise will be a deciding factor as to whether or not we make final payment for the Beyond cruise next March.

Of more concern to me is the removal of Dover Sole.
