  1. Just let the host/hostess know the day before that you will be early or late the next night. That's why they have anytime dining. Reservations are nice to have but you can still be flexible.
  2. I've been noticing that there are topics on the boards, Celebrity is what I view several times a day, that I don't see for a few days. I thought it was me but there is a current thread, Snuck Up on Me! - Celebrity Cruises - Cruise Critic Community that was posted on Monday at 9:18 AM. I only saw it tonight at approx 7:25 PM despite the fact that I've checked the boards several times a day since Monday. This is definitely a poster that I would follow. Anyone else noticing this?
  3. There is a wall between your cabin and the elevator. We have never heard noise from the elevators and we are often midship across from the midship elevators.
  4. So sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed his posts, even though I might not have agreed with them. May he rest in peace on the nearest cruise ship.
  5. We went 2 days early in March and will go 3 days early in December. Since the cruise is only 8 days 3 days extends our vacation and we can board the ship on New Year's Eve rested.
  6. I was amazed at the prices of LV bags on Edge in October. I had a large amount of OBC and bought a Coach bag. After I got home I saw a post about the LV bags being used and I was doubly amazed.
  7. With your view of cruising right now it might be best for you to cancel. There are no guarantees and Covid is not going away any time soon.
  8. Sometimes they disappear for a day for inventory maintenance.
  9. On a Canadian cruise a balcony above and to the side of ours was decorated. The tighty whities and 40DDD bra looked so cute hanging from the clothes line I wondered why more people didn't decorate.
  10. Yes, you view a very short video on your phone or in your cabin then report to your muster station where they check off your name. You can view the video on your phone before boarding.
  11. Way too many. I don't even want to do the math. I know it is 7 and a half months.
  12. I don't know if Celebrity has restarted the meet and mingle events. If they have it is up to the guests to register. If 25 do so then Celebrity will arrange it and the invitation will be in registered guests cabin Maybe they are asking you to arrange a sail away party which is guest initiated and does not involve Celebrity.
  13. You will keep the perks you booked with as well as the captains club points for your original category. The amenities of the Royal Suite include unlimited specialty dining and a bar set up in your suite of 2 bottles of alcohol. You can substitute wine or champagne if you want. You will also have free laundry. Your friends will not be able to enjoy the retreat, free specialty dining or your laundry amenity. (They are pretty strict about the laundry.) Luminae is your assigned dining room. Your friends can join you for a fee, $30 for dinner, $20 lunch and $10 breakfast. You can invite them to your suite for a drink or snacks. Arrange the snacks with your Personal Retreat Host.
  14. Unless things have changed there is only one ship in port at a time. RC redid the terminal so that you no longer have to get on a bus to get from the check in to the ship. Boarding and disembarking are very smooth, especially for suites. We were in a Celebrity Suite for our Canada/New England cruise.
  15. Keep the existing reservation and go to the Maitre D once on board to change the date/time.
  16. We had it on Edge in October and Silhouette in March, both sailings were from Ft. Lauderdale.
  17. We got Covid a few days after returning from our March cruise, very mild and pre 2nd booster. Got our booster as soon as we could after recovering. Hoping for a Covid variant booster in late fall, before our New Year's cruise. Did not consider not getting the 2nd booster because we can't put our life on hold until December.
  18. As to the cruise not showing on Celebrity's web site, our December cruise disappeared for a few hours one day this week but is back on the site now. I'm guessing they were doing inventory maintenance, or whatever they call it. It did not disappear from my future cruises.
