  1. We get the upgraded internet free with our suite so I wouldn't pay more than $1 per night. (Didn't want to break the rules and say zero)
  2. Maybe you could book through a TA. Ask for the total due and request no invoice with breakdown provided.
  3. @HlitnerI know it is just as possible to get sick or injured in the Caribbean. My point was that we would not be halfway around the world if something happened.
  4. Don't do it on line, it could mess up the entire booking.
  5. I think I am more concerned about medical evacuation, if needed. We will only be cruising in the Caribbean.
  6. Thanks, we're only keeping the Celebrity coverage in case we have to cancel for a covered reason after final payment.
  7. @Jersey42 & @Hlitner We have travel insurance through the cruise line to cover the cost of the trip, (Suites are too expensive to absorb the cost should we have to cancel) and want to purchase GeoBlue for medical/evacuation coverage, and we have a medicare advantage plan. I'm assuming if it is a medical issue GeoBlue would be the 1st company we would file with. If we cancel prior to the cruise for a covered reason then Celebrity's insurance would be our go to to recover the cost of the cruise.
  8. E Docs are for your information. You check in with the X Pass at the terminal. I usually just save a copy of the e-docs to my phone or tablet.
  9. Specialty dining is not included with Sky Suites. You will get the premium beverage package, upgraded WiFi, prepaid gratuities and an OBC.
  10. We got a move up offer to a PH at the last minute. My printer was not working correctly so I printed them in B&W. Our PRH and Retreat Manager went searching for our luggage. I attribute this to having B&W luggage tags.
  11. We had a dining table on the balcony on Edge. Agree though the balcony was long and narrow.
  12. I've seen so many posts about disappointing bookings and changes when booking FBC I would never do it.
  13. We did get the PJ's on our last 2 sailings. I think I still have a piece or 2 of the monogramed stationary.
  14. A lot of our experience in a PH suite mirrors @canderson, especially 2 post Covid cruises. Officers on both were no where to be found. We were encouraged to go to The Retreat for afternoon tea rather than having snacks brought to our suite. This was ok with us, kept the calories for wine. The PRH both times set up a party for us and Christian on Edge offered to have the chef prepare an Indonesian meal that he served in the suite. Pre covid we were offered bridge tours and lunch with the officers several times.
  15. I just looked too and I don't read it that way. The Excluded Bookings refer to anyone not sailing with AI, not that they cannot be removed under AI. Why you would even want to when you have AI makes no sense, Celebrity is not going to give you that $ back.
  16. It was $16 when you booked in May. Last time gratuities increased anyone booked was given an opportunity to prepay at the lower rate.
  17. Not if sailing from the US or any country where 21 is the legal drinking age.
  18. You don't say what cruise line. Celebrity's policy is one of the names on the reservation cannot be changed. You could book 1 person in one cabin and the other in another cabin. Once on board Celebrity will give you a key only card giving the couple access to one cabin and the displaced cruiser access to the other cabin. Hard to know what the current rate would be since all cabins are booked as singles and they might have paid a single supplement. Same with OBC, probably depend on the current offer.
  19. Aqua aft of the elevators would have the least overhead traffic.
  20. 2024 Alaska schedule is not available yet. When it is you will have better luck finding a specific cabin tyep. For 2023 I'm not aware of anything other than checking each sailing.
  21. Infinity has not been revolutionized. We sailed in a CS on Summit about 6 years ago and it was really in need of some tender loving care. I imagine Infinity is the same. The bedroom has no windows so gets really dark if the door is closed. The bathroom is off the bedroom. Our issue with the bathroom was the placement of the sink, toilet and really high tub. There was hardly room to step over and out of the tub, especially if you are short. Not much room to sit on the side and swing your legs over either. The balcony is long and narrow. It does not have a sliding door so opening it was a challenge when it was windy. The windows in the living area go across the whole room so that's nice. Also had a dining area in the suite.
  22. I think it would be easier to have a monitored test.😀
  23. Unlimited specialty dining is included in the RS. You will be contacted by the shore side concierge approximately 2 to 4 weeks before the cruise and he/she will make your reservations. Talk to your Personal Retreat Host/Butler about dining in your suite being served from a specialty restaurant.
