  1. Yeah, I think there is a rule like that somewhere. I like mine with more lemon and less sugar. Might be a Yinzer thing.
  2. It's a conference room/s. We waited there once when disembarking either for a Celebrity transfer or a cruise tour in Alaska.
  3. I always found the ice tea at the buffet was pretty good. Just needs ice, lemon and sweetener.
  4. Yes, as long as she has a beverage package and you show the seapass card.
  5. No laundries or irons on Celebrity and irons and steamers are not permitted. Ordering 2 drinks at once depends on what you are ordering. 2 mixed drinks, wines, beers, no. A drink and bottle of water is ok. If you are picking up a drink for a traveling companion you will need their sea pass in order to get it.
  6. These items and prices are from the room service menu for suites. We haven't ordered lunch from room service so don't know if they apply to Royal or penthouse suites.
  7. IMO, Service not overrated. Food overrated based on our last 2 sailings post Covid. One on Edge and one on Silhouette. Getting ready to try again on Reflection.
  8. I still see them for our Reflection cruise, Crab Cake ($11), buffalo Mozzarella Salad ($10), Ribeye, Sea Bass, Filet Mignon ($20)
  9. Glad to see the Market Discoveries are back, fantastic experience. Can you provide any info on what was done to the interior of the ship?
  10. Maybe the exciting news was the dropping of pre cruise testing requirements. COVID-19 Cruise Health & Safety Protocols | Celebrity Cruises
  11. If we went somewhere, say UPS to have the picture taken and they emailed it, wonder if that would work. We have 9 years so maybe the tech will be higher when we renew.
  12. You seem to have both problems with Celebrity and vivid dreams. Hope you get a good night's sleep.
  13. See my post re an Alaska cruise. They are well versed in politely enforcing the policies.
  14. On our Alaska cruise in a RS we boarded with a group traveling together, one couple in a PH, one in a SS and one in a concierge cabin. They boarded as a group, were welcomed into the Retreat Lounge upon boarding but the couple in a CC were politely told by the Concierge that they could not join their traveling companions in the retreat afterwards. The Retreat Hosts have no problem politely enforcing the rules.
  15. This was offered pre covid. Surprised to see it back again. The operative word is UPPER Suite. It does not extend to SS and is very limited.
  16. It's $60 pp + gratuity, not A La Carte. If you have a beverage package the sommelier can pair wines with each course so I would not recommend the Five Senses menu. It's a lot of food and everything is on the standard menu.
  17. We haven't sailed since they changed the procedures but you are correct. You can buy an over the counter test kit, test at the required time and show a dated photo of the negative result, or even take the negative test with you to show on embarkation. This could vary based on the cruise itinerary.
  18. Honestly, I really don't care if the vegetables are fresh or frozen. They are usually a small part of the plate. As long as the salad is fresh and the tomatoes in the salad, or with buffalo mozzarella, are not frozen I'll be happy.
  19. On our Silhouette cruise in March I asked the waiter in Murano's if the tomatoes in the Heirloom Tomato & Buffalo Mozzarella Salad were fresh and ripe. He assured me they were so I ordered it. The tomatoes were fresh frozen, still had ice crystals.
  20. Just a bit confused. Are you saying the bid you made was made known to other cruisers so that they could bid more than you? Or did other cruisers also get an email offer for them to bid, which is standard.
  21. It makes sense in a way. Blu and Luminae are, and have always been, open seating. Since there are 4 MDRs scheduling fixed and open seating must be difficult. If you had fixed dining weren't you assigned to one dining room. Suddenly you decide you want to try another restaurant one night, now your table is vacant and the other restaurant is above capacity.
  22. The room service breakfast menu for suites is not much different from Luminae's menu. We usually get coffee, fruit and pastries from Luminae for breakfast. You can get dinner in your suite from Luminae, just let your butler know early that you want to do this.
  23. You have to provide your CC# if you submit a bid. OBC cannot be used. You also can't use it as a deposit on a cruise that you book onboad.
  24. Maybe it will restart once ships return from the TA's. Be nice to have it for our December cruise because we have a later return flight.
