  1. We sail in the Retreat but are not sun lovers. Doesn't matter to us if there is a retreat sun deck or not. IMO the Reflection is in good shape so don't need to wait for the Revolution.
  2. Thanks, our Reflection cruise, also in a RS, is coming up.
  3. I don't know what time they opened but they were there at 8AM.
  4. There was some crazy pricing today. Just booked Beyond, 11 night Panama Canal sailing. For December 2024.
  5. Years ago Celebrity held a wine connoisseur dinner in Tuscan. I haven't noticed it recently but maybe they are bringing it back. We went once or twice. Similar to a Chef's table but held in the main part of Tuscan. I remember there being 8 people at our table. Wine was paired with each course.
  6. I am a co administrator on another social media site for an upcoming cruise. This person, or someone similar, posted the "T-shirt made by my autistic son". It was reported and deleted.
  7. I think 18 is a lot, probably 12 when the change from a cabin attendant and assistant was made. We just opted for the Go Green program which I hope will cut down on the attendants work load.
  8. Call Celebrity or your TA. Keep the same booking number, just have them switch it to a different sailing.
  9. Celebrity adds in the perks to your booking invoice then applies a credit to remove them. Gratuities take the longest to be removed. The web site is not the best and they always give the option to prepay gratuities regardless of how you booked. As Four Nines said you can log into your account and verify the beverage package and WiFi. If you were given OBC you will see it on the Plan My Cruise page. The booking confirmation uses codes to indicate the perks. If you want the insurance give Celebrity a call. I know there are some states that don't permit buying insurance direct from Celebrity.
  10. No, we've never done this but when in an upper level suite with 2 free bottles of alcohol they are the larger bottles so sure this is what they are selling. 1 bottle plus mixers and a snack or 2, not the mini bottles.
  11. Once you have a reservation look under Plan My Cruise, Beverages. Mine is at the bottom of the list. for an 8 night cruise with a prepurchase discount it is $94.99 for classic and $122.99 for premium. There is probably a 20% gratuity added at checkout.
  12. I used to put my jewelry in the safe every night. Now I get lazy and just put it in a drawer. Our last 2 cruises there was a jewelry box on the vanity that I used. I've left small bills, tablets, phone our with no issues. Cash, wallet and passports go in the safe and stay there until we disembark. We were on one Celebrity ship years ago when a verbal altercation broke out in the theater. Security was there as soon as the voices were raised and escorted everyone involved out of the theater. On another cruise an older man fell down the steps. Crew, officers and security were there before he could even attempt to get up.
  13. I just checked the app every day for our upcoming cruise on Reflection and the sirloin is showing every day. Doesn't mean it will not change the closer we get to the sailing.
  14. It is still showing on Reflection for our sailing.
  15. We were able to book a reservation on Beyond 2024 for Le Voyage.
  16. Interesting that they are giving printed bios again. They stopped them for a while when cruising resumed.
  17. We sailed on Edge in a PH when cruising resumed. We had a great time but there were only 900 guests onboard. The only time Luminae was crowded was the last night, don't know why we just didn't go to a specialty that night. We liked the PH except for the balcony. It's long and narrow which made it awkward when we had some people in for a party. The overhang did not bother us. Service was great throughout the ship, we tried all the specialty restaurants. Our butler served us a off menu Indonesian meal in our suite, at his suggestion. The Retreat Lounge did not seem very intimate. We didn't use the sun deck much. Edge compared favorably with the S class ships so we are open to booking either S or E class depending on price and what we perceive as value. I think you will like your experience.
  18. Did you need a replacement or did they just give you a new card? Who was your butler and the bartender in Michaels club?
  19. I think it is unfair that solo cruisers have to pay for 2 beverage packages and 2 WiFi connections. I'm not so sure about the gratuities.
  20. We sailed on Edge when cruising first resumed. We got a move up from a RS to a PH. Even the balcony in the PH was disappointing so I'm pretty sure we will be disappointed with our upcoming RS balcony. Other than that we liked Edge, especially the dining options. The ship only had about 900 passengers but the retreat was fully booked. Thinking about what we want to book next we're leaning towards another E class ship but will certainly boon S class if the price is right for the suite we want.
  21. @Oceangoer2If you cancel you would get the FCC back as a FCC. The rest of the deposit would be refunded provided you are outside of the final payment date.
  22. You should be able to drop off luggage then park. The porters will not be watching to see where you go. We're out of T29 this time and not looking forward to it, even though we don't drive to the port.
  23. We've done a few B2B's and have always gotten a $50 per cruise credit against the cabin cost, not an OBC. When we did it we had to ask for it.
  24. We are on Reflection for New Year's. The shore side concierge is Edwin, just talked to him yesterday.
  25. I did this the 1st couple of times in Lunimae on our shared cruise on Edge. The server very quickly learned my tastes and also used hot pads. It became a standing joke but should not have been necessary.
