  1. The typical time pre covid was 10 to 14 days. After covid, when ships were not sailing full it was much earier. Now that they are back to full sailings, especially in suites, it is probably back to 10 days. If you don't hear about 9 days prior you can call the Retreat number.
  2. I think the seafood tower at the Porch is an additional $15 above the cover charge. It is enough for 2 people when you consider the other offerings.
  3. It's not quite flaunting status. Different CC levels get different perks and events. The status is on the card so the host/hostess can quickly note that you are eligible to attend.
  4. Yes, you can order more than one appetizer. If there is something on the sea food tower that you don't eat (oysters for us) they will do a substitute.
  5. It does happen. We once had a Maitre d whose work visa was about to expire, in about 3 days. He had to leave the ship at the next port and fly home to get his paperwork in order. Apparently no one caught it.
  6. Non alcohol drinks are available through room service. You can ask that the mini bar be emptied but some butlers will tell you to take water soft drinks and beer.
  7. We are cruising in September and have bookings through December 2024. The cruise I am think of will not be available until late this year or early next. I asked our CVP about an open passages vs a placeholder and she recommended an open passages. Wonder if she would now recommend a placeholder. We usually only have a placeholder booking for a month or 2 but I know if we do it in September it will be longer.
  8. Thanks for clarifying. I thought I was going crazy with the 2 different chair and table styles. I finally figured out the later picture was from an infinite veranda.
  9. Thanks for the review. We are back on Equinox in September.
  10. The cucumber in the cucumber martini or in the Veuve Quique at the Champagne dinner. (Please ignore the spelling, I'm too tired to look it up.)
  11. I wasn't aware of it but still got the 4X points.
  12. You can call celebrity and ask for updated E docs.
  13. Wish I had known about the 4 points offer. Our final payment is due this month. I did pay some of the amount due in April but would have paid more.
  14. Yes, click on your user's name and you will see ignored users. You can enter the name there.
  15. Glad it was resolved after an hour or so. At the most, I would have asked for bottled water if I didn't have a beverage package that included it. Happens at home too when there is a water line break or a hydrant is flushed. If it is going to be a long outage they set up water buffalo's in a convenient area.
  16. How and where do you expect Celebrity's laundry to have enough room to air dry laundry? We've sent out a lot of laundry and except for a missing pair of briefs, and a small hole in the sleeve of a very old sweater never had a problem.
  17. Check the instructions for your phone. They are all different.
  18. Even if you see the menus now they are usually not finalized until closer to the sail date.
  19. I don't think so. I've had a BOA card for years and I once asked about converting it to a Celebrity CC. Couldn't do it, had to open a new account.
  20. We've used the BOA rewards several times to reduce the price of a cruise. The 1st time a cruise was cancelled the rewards went back on to the CC. The next time a cruise was cancelled the rewards were held in a file and we just had to call Celebrity to have them applied to another cruise. There is a document on line with BOA showing the order details (this is different from the Confirmation/Redemption Receipt and shows the transaction ID and Item ID). It is helpful if you have to have the points applied to another cruise.
  21. We've known about it but never did it. You can also order to-go from Lawn Club Grill for lunch.
  22. Although the menu is accurate, the rotation of menu's on the app is not accurate until about a week or less before the cruise,
  23. I usually request sauce or dressings on the side and Celebrity always accommodates. If you want extra sauce, just ask.
  24. Agree, you said it better than I did. Enjoy your next cruise.
