  1. I can't book anything through the app. I booked 4 spa appointments on line for our cruise. When you get to the check out page you get the option to use Celebrity issued OBC or a credit card. It's easy to miss. I did for the mani/pedis and my CC was charged. When I booked the next 2 appointments I took my time and used OBC. The appointments show in my on line calendar but not in the app.
  2. I admit to not reading the whole post since Bermuda is not in our travel plans anytime soon. Just seemed like a lot to put out there with short notice. The Bermuda cruises should be winding down in the next 3 weeks or so.
  3. True, the summer Bermuda sailings are lucrative but a stop at the end of a TA? Not so much IMO.
  4. We are sailing December 31 and booked our appointments about 3 or 4 weeks ago.
  5. As of August 8, 2022, testing was changed to 3 days pre cruise from FLL.
  6. When the program was first introduced it was limited to guests with a linked reservation to someone in a PH or RS and there was limited to the number of guests who could purchase the suite privilege. Information on the program was sent to the suite guests. I'm not sure from Jim's post if this is still the case or does anyone sailing solo get an offer whether or not they are linked to someone in a suite.
  7. Yes, 2 bottles per person of legal drinking age. You will not pay a corkage fee in any venue when you have a beverage package, I'm assuming they mean an alcohol beverage package.
  8. The fenced in patio must be new, at least I don't remember it being on Edge.
  9. If you book using OBC and CC and later cancel, the OBC will go back to your account and the amount charged on the CC will be refunded to the CC.
  10. If you book before you sail you either need to pay with a credit card or the OBC from Celebrity. If you book on board it will be charged to your account but later offset by the TA's OBC. There is no guarantee that if you cancel your spa appointment when you board you will get the same time or price.
  11. Never saw leg of lamb but have seen rib roast at the buffet. Don't know how prime it was but they do have it.
  12. They will follow US laws regarding drinking age. Your current booking probably has 2 components to the OBC amount. One is the OBC that was the promotion $ at the time you booked. If you change the sailing date you will pay the current rate for the cabin you choose and will get the current OBC promotion amount. The 2nd is the OBC for booking on board. This is dependent on cabin category and length of cruise. The higher the cabin category and longer the cruise, the more OBC you will get. So if you move from one 10 day cruise in a suite to another 10 day cruise in a balcony you will lose some OBC. The other thing to consider is did you book with a refundable or nonrefundable deposit. If NR there will be a $100 pp change fee to move the sailing. If you do decide to switch sailings make sure you move the current booking so that you retain some of the OBC from booking on board.
  13. Try booking both and see if you get the special price.
  14. I just saw this on Celebrity's website. Will make it easier for a lot of people, including us, since we are going to Ft Lauderdale 3 days before our cruise. Now we can test at home if still a requirement.
  15. Oh NO, 50 degrees outside is way too cold for open toed sandles. Better head to the shoe store.
  16. Sign up for the tests ahead of time, either using the App or emed.com. When we did our tests we started the process a few days ahead of time to go through the checklist of video volume in and out and WiFi connection. Once the check is done you can just cancel the actual Covid test. Make sure that after the 1st person is done that they sign out of the account.
  17. What ship are you on? If it is an Edge Class you will use Terminal 25 with facial recognition, don't even see an agent. If another ship and there are no Edge Class ships in port that day you will also use Terminal 25. Do you have TSA pre and/or global entry? That will get you through security faster. We've easily made a 10:30 flight.
  18. We gave up on Embassy Suites after or October cruise last year. Maybe it was just jitters after having not interacted with crowds for so long but when we went down for breakfast it was just too much. Long lines, everything was in one line so no separate stations for cold items, coffee station was jammed with people waiting for food, etc. Added that the rooms needed updated, we paid for a balcony with one broken chair and a door that hardly opened, etc. Much as we love the outdoor area there it will be a long time until we return. Stayed at Renaissance Inn in March. Cleaner, smaller room, outdoor area not as tropical feeling but we have opted to stay there again in December.
  19. First time I had a problem yesterday calling the Retreat for service on our December cruise. We are in a higher end suite and my calls usually go through within a few minutes. Yesterday, I was bounced to the reservation line every time I tried to call. Finally sent an email to someone who helped me with this issue in the past. Hopefully he will be able to help.
  20. Did you accidentally mark "All as Read"? if so you just have to wait for it to clear, probably tomorrow or the next day. Otherwise, not sure what you are asking.
  21. Are you cruising with someone else. Have them try to log in on the app and see if that works.
  22. What you described is fine. Your husband does not need a sports coat. Slacks and a button shirt will work for Evening Chic.
  23. Keep checking the app. Sometimes an earlier check in time will open up.
