He considers pricing insane not sure the big crystal fans on cc are reflective of the larger world of luxury cruisers time will tell

We can disagree about food forever for us the best part of crystal food was the lunch buffet and prego and the light fare at the bistro we disliked silk, found waterside so so, and avoided the churrasqueria. Great food but way too heavy food was not what attracted us to crystal

Silversea has best variety of dining options of any cruise line I have sailed on, at least with respect to the newer ships they also have the dinearound menu and of course all that caviar and real gelato that is awesome There is good food on all the luxury lines. No one starves explora is supposed to have 9 restaurants. Can’t wait for someone to report on that

Nonsense i have recently been on 2 ss cruises and 2 regent cruises. Every bit as good and in some aspects better than the old crystal. New crystal?? Who knows everyone I travelled with on those cruises felt the same way.

I am not discouraging you from regent but have you considered Disney to Alaska? Greatest for kids and lots of stuff for adults too.

True: a regent rep won’t give you any obc Useless if you have a dispute with company….. solution: find a great ta obc and great service

I’m on regent now. We made friends with a couple who booked directly. They got nothing. They now have my tas card. They booked on board and xferred cruise to my ta. Huge obc. Regent would have given them nothing best way to find a great ta is on the ship. I carry my tas card!! Many others do as well

On this cruise (2 legs) we watched video for first leg and had regular muster drill second leg.

There is plenty of casual wear after 6 pm. Not shorts or jeans but outfits I would not wear to dinner. Doesn’t bother me. Just my observation
