  1. In Florida , by law, an HOA is wholly comprised of the owners of the units. Early condos had the developer retaining ownership of common areas, and charging a fee for the use of those facilities (like pools, clubhouse etc), The state put a stop to that practice and the control of those facilities passed to the unit owners.
  2. @island lady Just got off Serenade of the seas and she had one she was using. If she sees this, she can comment on what she got and how well it worked.
  3. No. but it was neat walking out of WJ and seeing the pool chairs buried in snow, Muster drill not so much, although once they did move indoors due to ice on the deck.
  4. When we were living in Ct, we did a couple of those on Explorer. The only good thing were the last of a B3B, the other 2 legs being 9 to 11 days. It was a B2B that had a big snow storm, so they let us stay on
  5. I prefer Flightradar24, it is much quicker to come up. If a family member is traveling , flightaware works really well for following a flight. When at home, if I hear something unusual, flightradar24 comes on for the airspace around my house, and I can identify them quickly. One that has been pretty busy lately is the Florida Highway Patrol. The have a Skyhawk that does speed enforcement north of my house, generally for 2-3 hours starting at 7am, on I95 northbound. They generally do not do southbound because there is a restriction of PBI airspace.
  6. WEather station on Coco Cay indicates 50mph wind out of the NW, gusts at 55mph. https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/IBERRY34
  7. Two reasons. the west coast of south America is close to the same longitude and it is summer there. Days are longer.
  8. My insurance says 90 days, and the drug store encourages 90 days.
  9. When you were in Alaska, didn't you go on any of the glaciers? When we did an Alaska cruise, we did a helicopter excursion to one, so we were standing on an unborn iceberg.
  10. Suite checkin should get in when ever you want.
  11. Out of curiosity, what can you doe with it since it is not valid for boarding or charging.
  12. In Pa, we turned the water on to a slight dribble to prevent water from freezing in the pipes. In a home I had in Ct, it lost power for about 5 days, I don't remember how cold, but I left the water dribble in the kitchen and bathroom and everything was fine, along with draining the baseboard het pipes. Only problem was the washing machine had a single handle shutoff. Forgot about that.
  13. 3/4 day cruises all go to Nassau and Coco Cay from the Florida east coast. Turnaround days are Monday amd Friday. Only question is which ships.
  14. You posted Max capacity, that is lifeboat capacity. The ship is full when all staterooms have passengers.
  15. My experience has been that the thermostat will be at max cool when you board. Too cold for me, but that be all the cooling . Don't know if it gets cooler at night, I imagine that is what you are worried about.
  16. I am sure the Captain is also, When I met up with @Sea Dog in the DL on Adventure, the Captain came in. We were having some rough seas and he was showing us how he used that app on his phone to select an alternate route .
