I got confused , I think you are correct, I did not think I have seen those tags in a while. I sometimes I put on a shirt , and feel the tag scratching my neck and say wow, its been a while since I last wore this shirt.

And things will get much worse while they are doing it.

Last time I drove through Ga, they gave me a ticket for going a measly 85 mph on I 95. IIRC it cost me about $500. Next time I had to go north, I flew. Delta was much faster.

Actually they are predicting heavy rain and wind on Saturday , clearing Sunday, and a cold front Monday. At least on the east coast.

I just realized you are on an 8 day which means a Saturday departure. If the prediction is correct, you will get wet, and if it is windy, an umbrella is not effective. At least it is not cold. Unless you use offsite parking, and you can get dropped off next to the overhang.

Our forecast here in south Fl is cloudy and rain, windy, with temps in the mid 70's for the rest of the week. Did not see the sun at all today. Prediction for Saturday is steady rain, we will see if it is right. Should get better for Sunday. Good you are leaving next week . we have a cold front coming.

There is a company that specializes in arranges the necessary paperwork. I worked for a company that has customers worldwide, so we had people constantly traveling. and companies like that made all the necessary paperwork.

You can still do it the old fashioned way, show up at the port with your passport and meet with an agent.

Wonder has 2 pools on deck 15 with the central park opening separating them. there is a third pool labeled the beach pool.

The coin in a cup of ice will not work for a long period. The ice evaporates and the cup will be empty except for the coin.

The older ships did have a lounge , but we didn't have access. No special area for the suites , That cane with the next generation of ships. We did 4 TA cruises on X, 3 on M class, and 1 on Century. We did turn Elite on the last cruise, we never cruised as Elite, just converted it to Diamond and came to Royal.

Most of our cruises on X where Sky Suites. When I saw all of the extras you get with that now, I said wow. All we had was a butler, and I never figured out to do with him. He did bring treats everyday.

I watched a youtube video made by a couple who did a short cruise on Celebrity Ascent. Quite an impressive ship. Maybe someday we will try Celebrity again.

When I checked in for my January cruise, I had to use the app, there was no link on the computer anymore. Also, to enter the passport info, you scan the passport page rather than enter the information manually.

You have the choice to do either. You will get instructions towards the end of the first cruise explaining both options.

Good to know about Sat phones. I lost my little GPS that I cruise with, and looking for a replacement, similar size devices also included sat phones, that I definitely did not want, but not even thinking it would pose an issue onboard.

What a PIA. Today is checkin day for our January Grandeur cruise, and it will not let me checkin on my computer, have to do it on my phone. I do not like having to type on my phone, but I had no choice. Only good part is scanning the passport instead of typing the info, although i have that stored in a word document. and I could copy/paste the info

That is your best bet. I found out about the vendor thing when I bought something while on Indy and the register receipt had the vendors name and address on it, and it was a UK address. I believe Indy sailed out of england when it was new, so that made sense. On a later cruise on another ship, we had a chat with a gal who said her job was to visit the shops on each ship to do inventory, she worked for the vendor. I asked about Indy and she said that was one she did not do, wasn't the vendor she worked for.

Our main TV is 4K capable, but I was told our cable provider cannot provide a 4k signal.

I believe Indy uses a different vendor operating the shops.

We set up a .gmail account so we are disconnected from our ISP for an email address. We have comcast with the whole package, and DW would kill me if I changed anything. Besides, i can get connected from my computer, and most tv can be watched from there, including the DVR, although some channels will only work on my home network.
