  3. Going to wrap painters tape around a pen now! On Diamond the light by the closet would come on and stay on for several minutes which was really annoying in the middle of the night!
  4. As mentioned there have been ongoing issues with the ability to purchase plans. If you email askoceanmedallion@carnival.com they can help you make the purchase over email if you have entered a credit card into the Medallion App. When you email they will need your name, DOB, booking number and the date you are sailing. For trouble shooting they will also want to know device you are using and what version of IOS your device is running ( if you know).
  5. We spent 20 days on Diamond in November and our Bidet had some labels in English and some in Japanese. I used Google translate to figure it out. Here’s the translated control panel incase you get a bidet that has limited English labels.
  6. I think I misspoke. Suggest asking your waiter in MDR if it will be charged to the coffee package when ordering.
  7. @jerrie limbie others who have used the coffee package for room service orders have not been successful. I based my answer off my memory of having Plus package. So, I think you need to disregard my answer entirely and rely on someone who has ordered with only the coffee package. I would edit/ delete my original reply if I could. I will be on board Royal in a week and will ask. Also will try it out in Feb and report back. I apologize for giving bad info.

I haven’t personally tried it on room service so you could be correct ( I have had Plus when ordering). @jerrie limbie to avoid unwanted charges when you make a room service order if the item is covered by your package the screen will show if something is included in your package and your basket total amount owed will show as zero. I will be using a coffee package in Feb and can report back on whether it works for room service 😄

  11. If it’s photos that have the orange exclamation mark then click on that and see if it shows your security photo, if not, you can retake it.

  13. If everything has a green check mark you are in the blue lane because you didn’t order your Medallion. If it will let you order and request the ability to pick up at the port that should move you to Green Lane. If you can’t order the medallion because you are too close to sailing do not get stressed, when you get to the terminal a representative will assist you if something is missing and you will be directed to a line to collect your medallion. Similarly if it’s an issue with not properly uploading your security photo, they will take one when you check in. enjoy your cruise!

  15. You can purchase internet onboard when you first log into the system or you can purchase in advance in the MedallionClass app. Click on MedallionNet:
  16. I use iMessage and FaceTime audio/ video with no problem. Also have used WhatsApp. I haven’t tried Google Voice.
  17. It’s a way to show whether you purchased Plus at the $50 pp per day price or the $60 pp per day price. If you purchased at the higher price you get the newly added items ( premium desserts and exercise classes). Similarly the $75/$80 is to show what price you paid for Premier and whether you get the recently added items (reserved theater seating). Why your two cruises say something different if you paid the lower pricing for both is a Princess IT mystery.
  18. Based on the three cruises I have bid on and had accepted, no, the cabin you are upgraded to will not necessarily be in the same section your original cabin was it (none of mine have been).

  22. Does the OBC show on your Booking Confirmation? Was it OBC from a Princess promotion, Travel Agency promotion or was it casino freeplay? Freeplay won’t show up as OBC but your TA or Princess should be able to see the Freeplay listed on your booking under Special Services. Travel agents can handle Casino bookings and interact with the Casino desk on your behalf on bookings that require it. If a TA can do it a PVP should be able to as well. ( if you booked directly with the Casino then you would have to work directly with the Casino on issues)

Did the Claim form you filled out give you any contact information?   24. Just heard my bid for Mini suite was accepted for 15 day cruise on Royal Princess in January. My original cabin was a DA Deluxe balcony. My new cabin is an MB Mini Suite. My bid was $275 pp which was $25 pp over minimum bid.
  25. 9:30 am is too early. EZAir has Noon as the earliest departure from Vancouver on the date cruise ends. EZAir shouldn’t have offered you a 9:30 am flight. You may want to double check the end date in your search or search again to check what’s offered.
