  1. I don’t smoke either but here are the locations I am aware of: Deck 7 Promenade aft ( can’t recall if it was Port or Starboard but there will be ashtray visible). Casino while gambling and deck 7 Churchills Cigar bar.
  2. The price is for 2 people. Select 1 name and you can mention of both on your included gift message.
  3. You will have no choice in where cabin is located. If there is a cabin you want in the exact same category ( not just same type) you may be able to request a cabin change but in the end you should be ok knowing your cabin may be anywhere. You are bidding a cabin type, not location. Yes, you can use a Princess gift card to pay for the upgrade.
  4. Yes, the mini suites on Dolphin Deck on Crown are completely uncovered
  5. Not sure if they have them on Grand. We put rolled up pool towels in front of ours on Royal and that worked fine for keeping them off. We just lived with the one in front of the bathroom. Overall the lights are pretty annoying!
  6. Any of the princess reps can take the payment for $39.00 since this is for insurance so you don’t have to work with the casino desk on this. Call the regular Princess number and tell them you need to make the payment.
  7. Visit this website and click on Sky Princess obstructed views and you can see the various cabin views. You can change the various obstructed view locations once you select your ship. https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/ov.php?ship=Sky-Princess&cabins=E101-E230
  8. Put in a bid to move from a DB to a mini on a. 5 day cruise . We bid slightly over min bid. This morning got the “YAY your bid is accepted” email....4 hours later still no new cabin assigned so I can’t go in and pay for the upgrade. Others in my party also got winning bids and they got new cabin assignments right away. I have successfully bid several times and always got the new cabin assignment within a few minutes of the award letter so this is a little strange! And there really isn’t any good way to contact the people running the program that I know of. Hopefully a cabin assignment comes through soon.
  9. Don’t expect the ship internet to be anything like what you are use to on land as far as speed. Emails without attachments generally send and receive but anything with an attachment is slow. Large files are very challenging to open, send or receive. Website pages with lots of graphics ( photos) are very slow. Internet messaging seems to work well in most instances but WiFi calling can be hit or miss. much if the reliability depends on where ship is and how many people are actively using the internet ( very early mornings and very late at night it seems faster to me). YMMV of course.
  10. @PacnGoNow no updates yet. At this point I am planning on doing BinaxNow through Emed. Better safe than sorry! if I hear anything new I will report back.
  11. We use Emed. Been very pleased and plan to use again for our March Enhanced Voyage
  12. The old casino inquiries email address is no longer monitored and I am not aware of a new one replacing it.
  13. https://www.princess.com/learn/faq/pre-cruise/prepare-for-your-cruise/?accordion=travel-documents here is the link to the requirements for closed loop voyages. @Tean94 Please review it BEFORE you cancel your cruise.
  14. WOW! I am speechless! Trust me when I say there are many good and responsive TAs and PVP out there would will treat you much better than this!
  15. You get a voucher in your stateroom for the jacket and then go to the shop and pick up the size you want.
  16. I went and checked the gift shop today… the $5.95 version have Stanley on them and are in a plastic case. The $3.95 cards are in a paper box and have the ship on them.
  17. I use my Princess Visa ( Barclays) and get statement credits when I have enough points. I also have started buying the AARP Princess gift cards to save 10%.
  18. Currently on Royal and we get a printed Patter left on our bed every night.
  19. I see you are from US. All Princess ships have a US outlet. You may still want to bring some sort of multi plug or a power strip that does not have a surge protector since it seems there are never enough outlets for all the devices you may want to charge, for hotels you will want a European adapter.
  20. Have you, or your TA, requested and received approval for a route deviation?
  21. We haven’t gotten them in years either! Update: I just read the description and terms of the Plus beverage package and the zero alcohol package and neither one mentions the free tumbler any more so it would be a good idea to bring one if it’s something a person wants to have on their cruise.
  22. We have been watching them on Royal Princess. They have been playing outside on Movies Under The Stars and on the stateroom TV.
  23. Yes, minimum bids or slightly above seem to be having good success.
